"There is construction going on here - BEWARE, you cannot rest in your room during the day.
The check-in is really impersonal, you self check-in, just like shopping in Tescos! No human contact, which is disappointing for a hotel like this.
We only spoke to the staff when we complained about the incessant noise of drilling and banging above our heads.
I finally spoke with the Duty Manager & his Deputy, very polite & apologetic, and received a small discount, but it was too little, too late. We weren't after a discount, we were after 'rest'.
We were NOT made aware that there was construction going on - if you book via a 3rd party site, beware! Check the Hotel's website too!"
