The Tower Hotel, by Thistle

"The Tower Hotel by Thistle. 25th September – 28th September 2026 Our stay at The Tower Hotel was excellent. The hotel is in a fantastic location, and the view of Tower Bridge from the front of the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. I had requested a quiet room, and we were very pleased with the room we were given. It was very comfortable, with comfortable beds, and we had a lovely good night’s sleep. Our room overlooked St Katharine Docks, which was a beautiful view and lovely to look out at. Although many guests request a room with a view of Tower Bridge, we were very happy with our view of the docks. The room itself was a little dated, but it was absolutely spotless, comfortable and well maintained. We stayed on a room-only basis, so unfortunately I cannot comment on the breakfast. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is excellent for sightseeing. The Tower of London is just a very short walk away, which was extremely convenient. During our stay, we also visited Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Somerset House for the Fleurs de Villes: DIANA exhibition, and ABBA Voyage. All of these were easily accessible using the London Underground. We also enjoyed some lovely meals during our stay at The Ivy Tower Bridge and Côte Brasserie at St Katharine Docks. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at The Tower Hotel and would happily return. The excellent location, comfortable room, beautiful surroundings."

"The hotel is directly opposite the Savoy theatre which was convenient for us to see Paddington the musical. Our room was not ready when we arrive and we were given a drinks voucher to get drinks in the bar while we waited, The reason I have only given 4 stars is that I booked a room for three adults. The room was only set up for two. We found cleaners and asked for additional towels and bedding for the pull out bed. He gave us towels but we had to contact reception for bedding. There were no english breakfast tea bags only fancy ones. Only bottles of water for two. Apart from that no other complaints about the hotel"
