Pond Cottage Stay

All of our family stayed in the Spixworth Cottages for our wedding which we have in the barns. My family who stayed in the pond said it was very tidy, clean and a cosy little cottage. Very appropriate for our needs.

A great place to stay

A very nice holiday home with very friendly owners and welcoming. Lovely setting with a very warm pool and quoit with the ducks on the pond. We will be going back next year.

Great stay

Pond Cottage is a lovely, clean and well-equipped home from home :). The surroundings are peaceful - just right for a quiet getaway. My grandchildren enjoyed playing in the games barn and the playground when they wanted to let off a bit of steam and a good time was had by all.

Winter stay Pond Cottage

Another excellent stay at Hall Farm Cottages. We love staying here, very quiet, comfortable and so friendly, we have stayed several times. The new games barn is really excellent with a full size snooker table, new table tennis table, darts and tv. Great for adults and teenagers. Looking forward to returning in better weather and using the fabulous tennis court and swimming pool.

Charming place in a fantastic location

We enjoyed our time in Pond cottage. It was very well equipped and had a lovely garden. The swimming pool was warmer than expected and we enjoyed being able to go for walks in on the farm. The location was fantastic. I can’t think of a better base to explore the broads, coast and other fantastic attractions. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

We had our wedding at Spixworth and it was absolutely perfect. Sheela and Jack put so much hard work and love into the cottages and grounds and made us feel so welcome and at home. Everyone of our guests loved it. The place is georgeous, the facilities brilliant and they really do set the bar high. Thank you to everyone for making our time so special here.

Lovely place, friendly people.

Pond cottage was just perfect for us. Communication with Jack and Sheelah was always clear and very friendly. The cottage was clean with a lovely new bathroom and kitchen. The site itself is great, a massive games barn on site and a walk or bike ride to the pool or tennis court. The pool was warm even though the English weather was unpredictable, so we swam everyday. Just a shame the local pub didn’t serve food, but there is another one in the next village.

Absolutely amaaaaaazing

Honestly, staying here was an absolute treat for my grandson and I. The lodge was better than the pictures and it had everything you need to be relaxed, spoilt and the welcome from the owners mother was just lovely. I attend with my 4 year old grandson who really enjoyed the playground and play barn where he beat me at air hockey. The woodburner in the living room was the icing on the cake. Everything was clean and spotless and there were leaflets and information in the kitchen which was very helpful. Pond cottage was right by the pond so the setting was just perfect. I must say the floor in the main bedroom does creak in some places but that goes with an older building but that just added to its character. Overall I cannot praise staying at Pond cottage enough and it’s definitely worth for money. Can’t wait to go back. Samantha

A great place for a short September break

We enjoyed staying in Pond cottage on this, our second visit, as much as we did the first one a couple of years ago. This time we particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and were amazed by how warm it was, seeing the ponies in the small yard across from our kitchen window and visiting places of interest (the Broads, Blickling Hall, the radar museum) all of which are just a short drive away. We'll hope to come again.

Ideal weekend getaway well located for attractions.

We really enjoyed the stay in the well appointed cottage. There was a bit of noise from other tenants which was intrusive to a rural escape but it was kept to reasonable hours and could be expected given the number of units on the same site. The booking arrangements were easy to follow and there was good friendly interaction from the proprietors.

A wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Pond Cottage. The location was great (you need a car) and the amenities on site were brilliant for the children. They loved the indoor games room with a stage, and we were lucky enough to have a warm enough day for a swim! The site was generally characterful and picturesque, as was the cottage itself. We had two bedrooms with one being set up with 3 beds, and there still felt like there was plenty of space in that room. It was great to have everyone in actual bedrooms and to not have to have kids on a sofa bed in a living area! Thank you, we will be back!
