A Holiday With The Pack

This was our first time at The Crib, and what lovely accomodation it was. Very well kitted out for ourselves and our seven dogs. This has to be the most dog friendly accomodation that we have stayed in and we have stayed in a few. A lovely garden for the dogs to play in and to chase the odd squirrel that dared to appear.

Everything you need for a relaxing stay with your dogs.

Fantastic welcome pack for us with lovely food, lots of beds, toys and bowls for the dogs. Handy stair gates in place and everything we needed. A short walk to the beach and famous lighthouse, and also around the fields. Look out for the local peacocks!

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful week staying at The Crib. The 3 spaniels really enjoyed exploring the fabulous garden and with the beach only a 5 minute walk away loved swimming and running on the beach. The humans enjoyed their down time too!

Superb dog friendly cottage

Fantastic dog friendly cottage

Having stayed in a number of “dog friendly” cottages in the past it was a very welcome change to finally find one that is truly so. The welcome park was superb and our labrador was especially keen on the Nico treats! She had a choice of comfortable dog beds which saves the need for fitting one in the car, there was spare doggie towels & blankets plus toys, leads, bowls, everything you could need. It was our rescue dog’s first holiday and we couldn’t have asked for a better location than the Crib with so many lovely walks available from the garden gate. The garden itself was large and fully enclosed so safe for late night sniffs & wanders. Her hoomans loved the well equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches all round the cottage that made it a real home from home.

Holiday at the crib

Just returned from another wonderful holiday at the crib we absolutely love this cottage great location wonderful garden lovely doggie touches and very well equipped with everything you need we have stayed here a few times now and Helen the owner always gets in touch to see we have arrived ok and that we have had a good time and always leaves a wonderful selection of goodies we are back again at new year so thank you Helen and ERC Elaine and family

A lovely stay in Happisburgh.

Lovely cottage, very well equipped and to a high standard - it is a super set up and great for humans and canines alike. The owners, Managers and Housekeeper do a great job in terms of administration and maintenance to ensure we had a great holiday. Lovely welcome pack, nice touch. Happisburgh is a nice place, lots of good walks and not too busy.

We will be booking again

We had a lovely few days here with the dogs. The wooden floors and leather sofas made it much easier to be in than other dog friendly properties we have used. It was really spacious and had many useful things so we could pack light. The owner was super friendly when booking and left a lovely welcome pack. We will certainly be booking again for another stay.

After a very foggy journey we arrived to a very warm and welcoming cottage, lovely big comfortable rooms the owners have thought of everything to make us and our dogs feel welcome. The enclosed garden is wonderful and the dogs had great fun. Added to all the above the beach is less than a 5min walk and the pub 10mins.

Lovely homely cottage

Perfect cottage with a fab big garden that our 6 dogs absolutely loved . Plenty of off road parking , the beach is just a few minutes walk away so we didn’t move the car until our return home. We will definitely be back , we really appreciated the welcome goodies for us and our dogs . Lots of feeding bowls and dog beds a real home from home for us all.

Dog friendly welcome

We’ve been to The Crib many times and appreciate the dog friendly welcome. It’s always clean and the owners continue to make improvements notably a new kitchen this year. Our rescue dog settles well and it’s extremely comfortable for the humans too.

The Crib

Returned home yesterday from our 2nd stay in the Crib and it didn't disappoint this is such a beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you could possibly need for both dog's and humans, the garden is so secure you can completely relax knowing the dog's are safe even for the escape artist (Megan)the welcome pack was plentiful and very much appreciated thank you Helen and Chris, we love our holidays staying in the Crib so much we have already booked for next year

Home from home

A beautiful cottage, which was ideally situated in the lovely village of Happisburgh, 5 minutes walk to the beach. The cottage was very well equipped with everything that we needed for ourselves and the dogs. The whole place was very clean and comfortable, we had a perfect stay. The dogs particularly enjoyed the safe and secure garden. I would highly recommend this cottage.

First norfolk holiday

We stayed at the crib in happisburgh at the end of July, it was our first holiday in norfolk, & could not have asked for a better place to be based. Great cottage with a huge garden for our dog & children to play in. All you could possibly need & more provided for humans & dogs too. Lots of beautiful dog friendly beaches nearby, plenty of places to eat & a very comfortable cottage to go back to at the end of a busy day.

Another fantastic holiday at The Crib

The cottage is a wonderful home from home. Everything is thought of for dogs and humans. The garden is large and very secure. The cottage is well equipped and the kitchen is fantastic, with everything you could possibly need. It is in a perfect position in the village with a 5 minute walk to the beach or the pub. Highly recommended.

A superb January holiday

Perfect in every way for humans and dogs. Warm and comfortable with a lovely log fire. Spotlessly clean. Excellent position for a 5 minute walk to miles of dog friendly beach. Great garden. We parked up and walked to cafes (all open in January which was a bonus), pubs, and a good shop in Walcott. A very good welcome pack provided. Everything supplied for the dogs which made travelling easier. Best cottage we’ve ever stayed in for a dog friendly holiday. We can’t wait to return.

Second stay

This was our second stay and The Crib was as lovely as we remembered- Fab garden for the dogs, cosy, quiet and just what we needed after the madness of Christmas. Welcome pack was fantastic and the dogs absolutely loved the Orvis dog beds - nothing but 5 star for them throughout the cottage. Both Sue and the owner Helen were great sorting out minor issues quickly, one caused by us!

We had a lovely stay in the Crib. The house and garden was a good size for 4 adults and 2 dogs with private parking. The property is very well maintained and the dogs very well catered for. (Watch out for the rabbits in the garden though!) We (humans and dogs) were left a welcome pack which was very gratefully received. Plenty of local info/maps available. Very quiet village away from touristy areas,but exactly what we wanted!
