The breakfast was to die for and we really enjoyed dining at the restaurant in The Bar. The location was very convenient for exploring Normandy. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. “Nous avons été charmés par ce lieux d’hébergement . Nous étions dans le bâtiment principal . Très propre , lit confortable et personnel très accueillants . Un lieux d’hébergement classe 3*** mais pour nous serait beaucoup plus un 4 **** par sa qualité d’hébergement et sa propreté . Il n’y a pas de climatisation mais ils fournisse un ventilateur alors nous avons été très confortable . ”

“Literally just back from a 2 night stay here and stayed in a family duplex since was for 4 adults which are on a separate block to the main house. Was a very nice stay overall, big spacious room with an additional upstairs double bed and bathroom, although just the one toilet for both floors. Lovely quiet grounds to sit in, fairly easy 20 minute walk into the middle of Bayeux and breakfast plentiful buffet style thing. I have an EV so perfect for me, arrived with about 40% battery and filled up……

“The staff were wonderful, very attentive and friendly. We were in a stand alone house operated by the hotel. The only issue we believe exists, is the need for additional seating in the common area. Such as a large sofa. The location is a few minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the tapestry. A great home base for Normandy battle sights. ”

“It was a wonderful stay in a French chateau in the countryside. We rented a car so there was no issue with transportation but I’m not sure how you would get around if you didn’t have one. Our room was on the top floor but they helped carry the suitcases up as there was no elevator. I was worried about not having air conditioning but there was a fan in the room and when the windows were open it had a nice cross breeze so it wasn’t an issue. The gardens were amazing and well kept. We had a nice……
