Top Ohara Hotel Reviews

Hotel Kajikaso

8/10 Good

"Overall, our experience was good. Our first night was wonderful- we were met with friendly staff and the dinner experience was wonderful. The food was good and each portion of the meal was explained and were presented in a beautiful manner. Although the second night’s dinner was not like the first night - we discussed it with the hotel management team and feel they are going to make every effort to ensure other guests will have a memorable experience throughout their stay. Disappointed that we couldn’t stay for breakfast the next day due to an early checkout to continue our itinerary."

Hakone Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel Hakone is a beautiful property on a lake with beautiful Mountain Views. A very relaxing place."

Hotel Nanpuso

10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. I didn’t appreciate how they charge you for every little thing I got charged three dollars for a bucket of ice which normally comes complementary with rooms. I’ve never had to pay for ice. I also wanted the privawhich was only a $50 upgrade from the standard room that I had accidentally booked. They’re very kind and helping me with that. I was pleasantly surprised to see the hot tub private onsen ready to go,"

Yumoto Fujiya Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A perfect one night stay for my two-day visit to Hakone. I made the hotel aware of an allergy ahead of breakfast and booking their kaiseki meal, and they made every effort to accommodate me and serve me food catered to my dietary requirements The onsen was a wonderful experience, with lots of helpful guides in English for my first time. A calm, restful and restorative stay"
