“House was great and had everything we needed. Highly recommend. Large and private, but not quite secluded. Can see other houses. Mountain driveway is not to be underestimated. 4WD required and need tall clearance under car. It is 1-car wide and challenged when you meet another car coming the other way. Close enough to both Shenandoah for outdoor activities and C’ville for city attractions. Cleanliness great! Communication easy and prompt. ”

“I took a few days to Orange to check out the local rodeo, breweries, and wineries. I stayed in this nice little cottage on a beautiful farm overlooking the Shenandoah off in the distance. It was a comfortable stay and had everything I needed. Though there were other folks staying on the property, they were far enough away to feel like you had the place all to yourself. The property is conveniently located near several attractions including wineries, breweries, horseback riding, and James……

“A beautiful cabin and a responsive, helpful host. One thing I do want to call out is that the listing's callout that you should have AWD/4WD is somewhat underselling the challenge of a few of the hills and turns. It's a 1.6 mile, single lane gravel road to the property, with two sharp downhill (or uphill, when leaving) turns. The quality of one of the hills in particular has a lot of deep grooves, probably from people going up it in wetter weather, that can make navigating a little challenging.……
