The house matched the listing photos, but once we arrived, it was clear that many things were quite worn. The carpets were worn, there were stains on many of the walls, the bar stools and dining chairs showed significant wear, and several of the doors would not lock. The upstairs utility room door wouldn’t even close. I’ve stayed at many VRBO properties, and this one came with the fewest supplies. The kitchen was stocked with only the bare minimum. There was exactly one trash bag in each bin, one dishcloth, one pair of tongs, one medium-sized pot, and few kitchen basics, and dull knives. The grill was a disappointment. There is an additional fee of 95 for cleaning and a new propane tank. Since we were only staying 3 nights and didn’t learn about this until dinner on our 1st night, it wasn’t worth paying for a full propane tank that we couldn’t possibly use. The movie room was a waste because the projector relied on its tiny built-in speakers. Without a soundbar or proper audio system, it was difficult to hear anything so we didn’t even use that room. We also had trouble getting into the community. The QR code provided for the entrance gate didn’t work at any of the entrances.Positives. The home had plenty space for our family of 9. We had clean beddings but the beds were noticeably used. The host was very responsive . When we arrived, the pool was dirty and a pool cleaner came early the next morning to clean it. Close to stores and food options.
