"From the moment we checked in, the staff provided a thorough orientation in fluent English. They personally escorted us to our room and gave a detailed introduction to the facilities. The room was spotless and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay. What impressed us most was their exceptional personalized service. Due to our private itinerary, we needed to catch an early ferry at 6:40 AM. Although the hotel’s standard shuttle service starts at 7:00 AM, they specially arranged a private transfer at 6:20 AM to get us to the pier on time. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. If we visit Miyajima again, we will definitely choose this hotel to try out different room types."

"Lovely, charming ryokan exactly as pictured. The omakase dinner was amazing and the breakfast was also very welcome. It’s in a very quiet part of the village so it’s very peaceful. One of the rooms has a patio great for chilling out and it’s almost dark enough at night to take photos of the Milky Way. On a side note, I initially just wanted to drop my bags off in morning, but to my surprise, the owner allowed me to check-in early! Highly recommended stay. Some things to note: - There’s a shop across the street (run by an old sweet couple) selling drinks and snacks - The stairs going up to the rooms are very steep so watch out if you have mobility challenges - I was greeted my deer the next morning, not sure if this is normal but it was a nice way to top off my stay "
