Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa

"One of the loveliest hotels I have stayed in for a while. The reception staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. The spa facilities were lovely and once again the staff were really professional at the same time being friendly. Breakfast was busy but delicious although I would have preferred the plates to have been warmed. The hotel is a little further outside Oxford than I expected but easy accessible for park and ride at Thornhill and only cost £3 for parking and the bus into the heart of Oxford."

"The long barn is lovely, very spacious and immaculately presented. It comes with great amenities such as the tv and games room and access to an outdoor pool and a small garden. The hosts were really friendly, helpful and showed a lot of flexibility in regards accessing the pool when the weather allowed. We were a family group including a 10 year old and a person with limited mobility and the accommodation was brilliant for them - just be aware that there is one internal step between the downstairs bedrooms and the kitchen/dining area."

"Have stayed 3 times at the Cherry Tree as it is convenient to visit our son and his family. Previously we met the owner and staff and able to feel confident should any problems arise. This time the only communication we had was via phone on booking in. The room was fine but there was no hairdryer and you needed a shower mat for the walk in shower unit. It was slippy and not ideal for a senior person. Tried to call but there was no one available. We stayed for two nights and there was no room service for the second day consequently no bottle water or top up of tea or coffee."
Stunning 6 Bed Cottage & Annexe in Oxfordshire

"The Cottage is outstanding for a rental home, the fixtures, decor, furniture and equipment are of the highest quality. The property is styled perfectly in keeping with age and position.The property is spotlessly clean - we were surprised it is pet friendly as there is no evidence of the usual signs. We were a family party celebrating my 75th birthday with children of almost 3, 11, 12, 16 and 5 adults, luckily the house offered something for us all from the pool room to the stack of games and the largest of televisions in the snug, the heated pool and jacuzzi, luxurious bathrooms, childrens play room.... could continue. The host is a company called Red Kite, who I can not fully commend, as information was lacking, as was assistance when needed. They are aware of my comments so I am certain they will do their best to not let the owners of this wonderful property down by improving their service."

"This property is fantastic! Not only was it spacious and clean, it had a small garden to relax in, my toddler loved the swing chair. We visited Blenheim Palace by car and Oxford by bus and everything was easy accessible. The host was very communicative and also had fans in the room for the 34 degree weather! Couldn’t recommend this place enough especially fr families."
