Room could use an extra blanket, hair dryer and makeup mirror. Shouldn’t have to ask for these at the office. Also my feet were filthy after walking barefoot on floors a couple of times. Ice machine would be nice and bag to put in the ice container in the room. Generally it was okay for the price. The employee and owner were okay.

Although I had prepaid on Expedia, I was told that my credit card had been declined at check-in. A couple minutes after giving him a different card, he informed me I was prepaid and he didn’t need the second credit card. Then the card key would not open the room door. Rather than issuing another card key, the manager let us use a master magnetic key to get in our room, which limited our ability to come and go freely during our stay. The next morning, we discovered the shower would only produce full hot or full cold water, neither of which allowed for a safe/comfortable shower. This was the most miserable experience we have ever had in an Expedia booking.

I reserved a room at one hotel but when I called they said it was closed for renovations. We ended up at another hotel and they kept the same price but they put us in a terrible hotel. It was under renovations and in a very bad neighborhood. I did not feel safe.
