We stayed 8 days with elderly parents (walker + wheelchair) and had a shockingly poor experience. The resort felt empty despite being “full,” and we were placed in a far building not suitable for mobility needs. Our “upgrade” overlooked a parking lot and active construction. The adjoining doors were stuck shut due to extreme dirt buildup — housekeeping had to repeatedly get more supplies just to clean it enough to open. Issues were constant: broken or ineffective AC, missing or non-working phones, bathroom doors that wouldn’t close or reopen, unsafe showers flooding floors, broken safe, and even a patio that sank underfoot. After being moved rooms, problems continued. The toilet wouldn’t flush unless we manually added water. Housekeeping came only 3 times in 8 days, often leaving no towels or supplies. Requests for basics took hours or never arrived. Food service was frustrating: long waits, wrong orders, and poor service. “Free breakfast vouchers” weren’t worth the hassle. The pool felt unclean, and loud parties disrupted sleep with little security response. We’ve stayed here 6 times and hosted conferences — heartbreaking to see the decline. I wouldn’t host a monkey poo fight here. Stay somewhere else.

What was supposed to be a relaxing, first-time trip to Palm Springs turned into a very disappointing experience. During our stay, multiple restaurants and bars on the property were closed, and the pools were also unavailable. None of this was communicated to us ahead of time. We later found out that the majority of the hotel had been rented out to a large group, which clearly impacted the overall guest experience. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency was only part of the issue. Staff consistently provided conflicting and inaccurate information, which made it difficult to plan anything and added to the frustration. Overall, the service felt disorganized and unwelcoming. While the resort fee was waived, it did not adequately address the extent of the inconvenience and disruption to our stay. Would not recommend based on this experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but the hotel was hosting a 600 person event for Passover which was not known to us before arriving, and severely limited the amenities available to us during our stay. Our room was facing a pool which after moving in we found out we were not allowed to use as it was only for the private event. We tried to get breakfast at the in hotel cafe and were told the breakfast items had been taken off the menu because they weren't kosher and they couldn't risk cross contamination. We were told that the main restaurant at the hotel was also going to be kosher only so would only have 2-3 items on the menu you could order for dinner. Poolside ordering was suspended because the event had brought in their own chefs for separate dining in another area. We tried to order drinks at the pool bar but were told all blended drinks were unavailable because of potential cross contamination so only sodas in cans could be ordered. We essentially had to leave the hotel for all meals and every evening for dinner instead of being able to enjoy staying put, and again had to travel a few buildings away from our room to the main pool since we weren't allowed to use the one directly in front of our room. Very weird to not have the limitations disclosed ahead of our stay due to the nature of the private event. We have stayed at this hotel about 5 times before and this was an unusual experience.

This place was so quintessentially Palm Springs we absolutely loved it! I hope they keep most of the decor when they remodel. The lobby, shared pools, and grounds were so beautiful! The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious (albeit expensive like all restaurants we went to!). The only thing that wasn’t great was the food at the coffee shop (coffee was great, pastries were very old and stale and the pizza was odd tasting, not like pizza) an the bathrooms in the rooms - they had sliding barn doors that didn’t close all the way which is silly. We were just with our small family, and there were so many other restaurant to choose from, that this don’t put any damper on our trip. We would highly recommend if you’re looking for a beautiful pool to relax around on your trip! We will absolutely be back!

I planned a getaway with my dad during a low-season Thursday–Friday, specifically choosing a time when the hotel would not be busy. Despite this, the experience was very disappointing. Months in advance, I requested 2 ground-floor rooms next to each other due to my father being elderly and having difficulty with stairs. I was assured this would be arranged. Upon arrival, we were told our rooms were on the second floor, & there are no elevators on the property for customer use. Given that the hotel was not full, this felt entirely avoidable. The front desk acknowledged part of my request but claimed there was no record of the ground-floor requirement, despite my clear communication. We were also informed at check-in that water would be shut off from 11 PM to 6 AM, which had not been disclosed beforehand. This was especially frustrating given a previous stay where gfs & I encountered a room with a strong odor (due to water tank issues) and were moved to a second room that was not clean. We were told this would be noted and that future visits would be handled with extra care. I mentioned this again when booking, but no effort was made to improve our experience. What should have been a smooth, relaxing stay became unnecessarily stressful, especially for my father. I cannot recommend this hotel based on these experiences.

It’s a pretty cool place that was probably exceptional back when it was originally built. But it’s definitely showing its age. For anyone with mobility issues, you might want to ask to be put in a closer building to the lobby. They put me way in the back, which is quite the trek with luggage. The reception did NOT give me good directions and I wandered for a while before finding someone who could take me to my room. Which is not fun when you are jet-lagged. Pool is cold but lots of chairs and towels. The restaurant is meh and the service there is terrible. Staff don’t appear happy to be there. Spa was good but the male tech was a bit inappropriate, exposing me to himself a couple times. I was able to walk to the downtown area but if you’re not fit or able to handle the heat- don’t bother trying. It’s a pretty flat walk but it’s a long one. I would not stay there again but was glad for the experience.

The staff at the front desk and cleaning crew was amazing. The service at the restaurant was just ok, food was not good, tried a burger from the restaurant and they didn't have ranch or thousand island. Then ordered chips, avocado with chicken bites..( chicken had nothing but fat) and only got a small amount of the chips at the pool. we miss the old restaurant and menu when they had fish tacos and yuca fries and the prices were reasonable before. We later on ordered another burger and it was completely undercooked.. i seen someone else complain about the same thing about the raw burger...besides the water being shut off from 1130pm to 6am on our first night, and main pool closing for a few hours due to an accident another day. our stay was decent due to the majority of the staff being great... will be debating if will be back.

Asked for towels to be delivered, never came. Food particles under our bed from previous guest. Bar didn’t have pina colada mix at all. Water in shower never got hot. We’ve stayed here multiple times as my son loves it and he wanted to go here for his spring break and we left very disappointed.

Rooms were not very clean and the AC never got below 70 at night and the staff said that was normal and the AC won’t get any colder than that.

Check in was terrible..I understand early check in was not available but the second time i went to check if my room was ready i was told it was cleaned but had to be cleared/inspected? I waited till 4:15..check in is at 4:00pm .i was told my room was not ready by this time my husband was upset and were told to speak to the manager.. He did take care of us at the end . But the staff working the front end were not friendly at least not me..

We recently stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday weekend. Check-in was a pleasant start, as the hostess was polite, kind, and professional. After receiving our room assignment, we chose to self-park since our room was located on the opposite side of the resort. The room itself was clean and well maintained. The bathroom appeared recently updated, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the patio outside our sliding glass door was disappointing—neither clean nor inviting. The surrounding landscaping was poorly maintained, and although the pool was directly outside our room, it was inaccessible due to a fence. That evening, we visited the Starlite Lounge for cocktails. We were the only guests, yet the bartender seemed unwelcoming and unfriendly. He became noticeably more upbeat when announcing last call at 10 p.m. and offering another drink with the check. Closing a bar that early felt like a missed opportunity for the resort. The next morning, breakfast at Circa 59 was a much better experience. The staff was friendly, and the food was enjoyable. The pool area was clean with well-maintained landscaping, though the bar was understaffed with only one waitress covering a large area. I also visited the Santè Spa. While the service was pleasant, the facilities could use some attention, as there was visible peeling paint on the grotto ceiling fixtures.

It has a nice SPA and restaurant. There are several pools. I noticed one pool wasn’t heated. I don’t know if that was intentional or not. The property needs updating.
