“Don’t go expecting a resort and you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. The Guna that run the island are all warm, friendly, helpful. Great snorkelling tours and beautiful clean water. The accommodations are very simple but comfortable. Shared bathroom that was kept very clean. A great place to get away from it all. The ride through the mountain was very potholy and winding so if you get carsick definitely come prepared.”

“El Ranchito Surf Camp. Well, there's not much 'camp' about it. Beautifully landscaped grounds and accommodations. When you have Jiani as a stellar chef and Lorenzo as the perfect surf instructor/fitness coach (nice gym and even better instruction)....well check all the boxes for El Ranchito. Very accommodating hosts, that get you to and on the surf. Nicely sculpted beach break, rights and lefts, only 100 yards to the outside sets (solid 6'+ face). A very memorable and fun experience.”

“What a beautiful little Casita set overlooking the jungle and a view of the river. You can go out on your patio each morning and watch the sun come up and the mist rising from the valley. It is freaking amazing! The hosts were so helpful, friendly, and truly wonderful people. Whenever I go back to this area I will always check to see if their place is available first.”

“If your goal is to immerse yourself in beachside relaxation, this might be the best spot on Panama’s Pacific coast! It is a rare find in Torio, a spot that’s becoming the next hot destination for Americans and other travelers. For one thing, this home is 30 steps from the beach. For another, the beach here is safe, calm, and sandy. Pretty much all the surrounding resorts require a long, hot hike down to the beach (and then back up). We spent every day of our 3-week stay swimming, boogie……

“For international travelers expecting a normal hotel room, I would carefully review details about this hotel. If you're accustom to staying in hotels that cater to local citizens, you might be happy here. They seem to cater to families with kids who want to hang around the pools. ”

“Very nicely located mountain casita. Easy check-in; Pamela gave us a great recommendation for a local car rental (Value Motors in Boquete - highly recommended - George was super helpful) and easy to follow directions to the casita. The place was exactly as advertised; lovely grounds and mountain views. A welcome bag of coffee from Pamala’s finca (on which the casita is located) was a nice touch. Easy access to Boquete; a 10 minute drive. Boquete has an amazing number of excellent……
