“Fuori Porta House hotel is in a great location on the edge of the old town of Bergamo, right next to one of the arched stone gateways. It is a smart, modern hotel. Breakfast is served in a lovely, bright room at the back of the hotel, and at the front is a terrace bar that is frequented by guests and locals alike. There is also a pizza restaurant below the hotel, which was recommended as the best in Bergamo by my walking tour guide :-) My room was spacious and luxurious with fantastic……

“I don't know what was worse. The instructions for entering were flawed, and the key was hidden in a secret place with a code that was never disclosed. I also rented the garage due to car trouble, and a few hours before, they told me there was no more space available. I only managed to get in thanks to the help of a kind and friendly Italian family staying there, but there were about 10 of them making a huge amount of noise early in the morning in the communal kitchen opposite my room. Late at……
