Then walking down the block to a wonderful bakery, enjoying stunning views on Notre-Dame, and returning with croissants and brioche. You have a delightful breakfast on the terrace, under the hazel tree.
What would you like to do today? So many monuments to visit in the surroundings. Or a cruise on the Seine River, the start is right here. Maybe this morning you’d like to experience the local Maubert fresh market ; the kitchen is fully equipped for you to accommodate then these finest ingredients and prepare a gorgeous meal.
If the Saint-Germain shopping experience is only planned for tomorrow, you can also go for antiques, explore bookstores (you’ll love Shakespeare & Co), or take a stroll to the Louvre.
The apartment is so close to everything that you can come back for an afternoon break before heading out for dinner. Let’s appreciate for a while the tranquility of the garden terrace, with a glass of wine and some fine music.
For dinner, what about the small café we recommended to you? Or you can celebrate at the famous “Tour d’Argent” overlooking the Seine!
And then, you could close the evening with one of the best jazz sessions in Paris, in two medieval caves just nearby, and return home by the banks of the Seine, wandering at the stars, and lights of Notre-Dame. A perfect end for a perfect day.

The apartment is 538 Sq Ft / 50m², with a 690 Sq Ft private terrace.

The large living room, with wooden floor and wooden beams, comprises a dining space, and a sitting area with direct access to the terrace. The leather sofa converts to an excellent quality bed. The living room is equipped with 42” LCD TV with cable, very-high-speed Wi-Fi Internet, Hi-Fi system, DVD player, and books on Paris, French literature, French cuisine…
The open-plan and fully-equipped kitchen includes a four-burner induction stove, an oven, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee maker, a dishwasher, a complete supply of cookware, contemporary dishes, cutlery and glassware. All you need is here.

The 690 Sq Ft terrace, in addition to the many trees and plants, has a dining area for 4 guests, and a sitting area with sofa and armchairs.

The quiet master bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed and spacious closet with mirrors.

The tiled bathroom has a bathtub with shower, a towel warmer, and a washing machine with tumble dryer. Toilet is separated.

Our stay was for both work and pleasure. I went to work most days, while my wife went to tourist points. I joined her in afternoon or evening to go to more museums and explore restaurants. The place is cinveniently less than a minute walk from Notre Dame. Public trsport is very convenient and there are thousands or restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores. However, most of these do nothing without this beautiful and comfortable apartment in the heart of the city. The apartment is equipped with everything you need regardless of the purpose of trip. The landlord was always there to help and even offered to come over to help when we couldn't figure out something. I would certainly stay there again, if I travel again.

This is the coolest apartment I’ve ever rented. It’s located on a quiet street a stone’s throw from Notre Dame, but is insulated from the noise and crowds. Everything is extremely well appointed: laundry, dishes, appliances, deep soaking tub with plenty of hot water, elevator, towels, dark bedroom for sleeping in, Champagne glasses, handy Paris/France tourist books and owners’ excellent shopping and dining recommendations, closet space, comfortable bed, and the glorious terrace, which makes you feel like you aren’t in the city. You’ll be able to see Notre Dame at all times of day and night. Everything is walkable and the RER train to CDG is nearby. My friends in hotels were all very jealous. Communications and directions were flawless. I stayed 8 nights and it was so hard to leave. If you need a medicinal dose of Paris, this apartment will do the trick.

The apartment was enchanting. Better than we expected. The location was amazing and oh! That terrace! Not warm enough to take full advantage of it but the illusion of spaciousness from the floor to ceiling windows was so special to have in a Paris apartment. Check-in was seamless as the housekeeper arrived at the same time we did! She graciously showed us around, allowed us to store our luggage and gave us the keys. Sadly I had fallen the night before we left New York. I was in incredible pain as I had what I learned upon our return was a hairline tibia fracture. Still we managed five miles a day. I spent many evenings icing my knee in front of the most welcome electric fireplace. Our single difficulty was due to my injury. The tub/shower was very deep and difficult for us oldsters to negotiate. I would suggest that Aurélien invest in a slip proof mat for the bathtub. The WiFi was not working but our host, Aurélien arrived within an hour of our call to him to resolve that issue. We were completely enthralled by our lodgings. I’m reluctant to give it any further kudos or we may not be able to find it available for our next Parisian foray. Once my fracture heals!

Absolutely wonderful apartment. This was our 4th stay in Aurelian's amazing place. That tells you how special we think it is. The kitchen is well supplied and everything is kept in excellent running order. Everything you need to prepare meals at the end of the day. The deck is a real oasis in the city. You sometimes have to share the deck with the pigeons but hey, you’re in the middle of the city. The living spaces are open and well appointed. It is a real bonus to have the large dining area. The bedroom is small but the bed is comfortable. He is in the process of replacing the sofa bed mattress which will be a good improvement. Hot water and washing machine are outstanding. Aurelien is an amazing host. This is a real gem. A very special from which to discover Paris.

This apartment is a real gem! Located for perfect assessibility to all sights. Very spacious for Paris and an amazing terrace to relax. The apaprtment is equipped with the basics to get settled (toilet paper, coffee pods). Check in easy and while not air-conditioned, and travelling in mid-August, the fans and open space were comfortable.The host is warm with attentive communication taking good care of us.

Great location. Close to many eateries and attractions. Notre Dame is literally around the corner. Loved the terrace! Enjoyed being outside resting after a day of walking around. The property is clean and comfortable. The owners are kind and attentive to communication. Highly recommend.

LOCATION: Everything about this property was exactly as expected according to the pictures and descriptions. Located just steps from Notre Dame Cathedral, the location of this apartment is central to many restaurants, sweets, bakeries and grocery stores. The train is steps away. The River Seine is also steps away. UNIT: As other comments have mentioned, there is a small staircase or very small elevator to get to the second floor to access the unit. An extra large suitcase could be a challenge. Also, the ceiling in the unit is low. My husband is 6'1" and bumped his head getting out onto the outdoor patio. It's not that big of a deal considering you're not going to be staying indoors much anyway. But the unit might feel smaller than it is due to the low ceiling. The full size refrigerator and ice trays were excellent. Dishes, pots and pans were well stocked. Fans in the living room and bedroom were much appreciated as we were there in July.HOST: Our host was very responsive and communicative when we had questions. Instructions were detailed and the Guest Book in the unit was very helpful for finding grocery stores and other resources. We arrived as the cleaning service was leaving; she was delightful and helpful explaining how to use the keys to the building and the unit.PATIO: We used the outdoor patio much more than we expected. Sitting on the patio enjoying cheese, fruit and a drink after a day of sightseeing was very relaxing. Loved it!

Location Location!

This is a great spot to “base” out of. It was our first Paris experience and nice to have both the subway and “big bus” around the corner….both made moving around easy. There are many restaurants around as well. The host was very pleasant and went above and beyond! The shaded private patio would have been nice, but it was unseasonably hot. The price/location cannot be beat! Thanks!

Apartment opposite Notre Dame

The apartment was very good, 10 steps and there was Notre Dame. Well furnished with lounge/sofa bed (we didn’t use it so can’t comment on its comfort as a bed). Dining table and chairs, the kitchen was well equipped. The bed linen and towels are of good quality.The terrace, with outdoor furniture, was a definite plus. Although with all the restoration works at Notre Dame and road works it was very dusty. Although there are fans, I think in summer it might be quite hot. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely stay there again when in Paris. One note, the street number on the website is 18 but on the plaque at the door where you actually access the building it is 19.

Home away from home in Paris

My goal was to spend a week in Paris with no real plans, just hanging out and enjoying the area. I found this apartment and initially thought it sounded too good to be true. After reading all the reviews I booked it. The apartment will now be my home away from home when I visit Paris. It is centrally located next to Notre Dame (right around the corner) but feels like a world away. Depending on your mood you can turn right and have all the touristy things or turn left and be on quiet streets. I spent many hours out on the deck either for coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening. It's close to a wonderful farmers market and amazing restaurants. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. Also, I was a single woman traveling and felt very safe. Will definitely stay here again!

January stay

Aurelien was an irreproachable host. He came whenever we needed him, even for minor things. The apt is wonderfully located in a warren of ancient curving streets just off the quai. Grocery stores are 2 blocks away; another two blocks and you're at Place Maubert, with an excellent bakery, charcuterie, butcher, fishmonger, cheese shop, etc. The apt's finest feature, a big terrace, we could not really use, since it was January. But the LR/DR/kitchen is sufficient. The BR is just a space for a mattress. And rue de la Bûcherie is a few hundred yards from Notre Dame. We had no complaints.

Paris stay

Lovely property and perfect for a couple. Wonderful location with easy access to Central Paris but very quiet on a side street. The outdoor terrace looked lovely, but we did not use it since it was December. Would definitely stay here again. The check-in process and communication was flawless.
