“Es un hotel nuevo con cuartos muy lindos y comodos. Pero considero relevante tener en cuenta lo siguiente : 1. Hotel de 5 pisos sin ascensor 2. No hay aire acondicionado en zonas comunes asi que toca mentalizarse a llegar y derretirse en el lobby, desayunar asado de calor y subir escaleras acalorado. 3. La piscina queda en el 5 piso, no hay ducha arriba. La piscina es mas como un jacuzzi grande. Las camitas para el sol quedan al lado de las maquinas del aire acondicinado asi que el calor es……

“This was a beautiful experience. My family was a group of 10 and we all loved it. My only regret is not staying longer. The house is beautiful and had charm and character. The exposed courtyard, architecture and styling takes you back to the 1700's. The communication was excellent with Andres. The service was great. The breakfast they prepared was typical and delicious! I can't stay enough about the whole experience.”

“I would come back to Casa Claver in a heartbeat. It was perfect for our family of 5. Clean and very comfortable. Close to everything in the walled city. It was nice to have the rooftop pool to cool off in the afternoons. Breakfast was delicious! Benjamin and James at the reception are amazing hosts. They speak English, and are very helpful. Thank you, Casa Claver! We will definitely be back.”

“Let me start with we could not find this hotel. Our Uber driver couldn’t find it. We had to walk around and Google Maps could not find it. Eventually had to call and get directions. Once we found it, check in went smooth. Location is great right in the center of the walled city. The balcony was nice to sit out and listen to the bands down the street. The breakfast was good. There was a language barrier but we were able to use Google Translate and get everything figured out.”

“Stayed in many hotels in Cartagena over the past 6 years and our stay here was absolutely one of the best! Everything from the staff (huge thanks to Chef Isaac, who took the time to show me how to make a dessert he had prepared that I loved) to amazing breakfasts and extremely comfortable room (bed was so comfortable AC worked perfectly and perhaps the best shower in Cartagena) and rooftop pool so enjoyable and great Wi-Fi. Will absolutely stay again on our next trip!”

“The staff was extremely courteous. The only drawback was that this hotel functions more like a bed and breakfast -- many functions are managed by a larger facility down the street. Again, the staff is great, but there is sometimes a delay while they have to check with someone in the other hotel for special requests or financial matters. ”

“My husband and I stayed at Charleston Santa Teresa for six nights to celebrate my 40th birthday in early June 2026 and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! From the welcoming and very helpful staff to the beautiful hotel and amenities and let’s not talk about the perfect location and comfy beds. We truly enjoyed our time in Santa Teresa and would highly recommend it to individual travelers, couples, and families. The pool/rooftop view is priceless!”

“Perfect location in the center of old town. Stunningly decorated and furnished - felt both modern and distinctly Colombian. The staff were truly outstanding, offering generous and friendly help at every turn. The breakfast is included and delicious. The rooms were perfectly air conditioned and had black out curtains, offering a welcome reprieve from the sun after a long day out and about. The rooftop pool is small but luxurious and has incredible sunset views! We loved it here and will……

“The hotel is in the heart of the city within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. 10 minute walk to Getsamani. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is very helpful and friendly with recommendations and reservations to the restaurants near by. The rooms are clean. The roof top bar is very nice. Overall wonderful stay. We will return.”
