“Gorgeous hotel, excellent service booked last minute but didn’t disappoint”

“This was a beautiful experience. My family was a group of 10 and we all loved it. My only regret is not staying longer. The house is beautiful and had charm and character. The exposed courtyard, architecture and styling takes you back to the 1700's. The communication was excellent with Andres. The service was great. The breakfast they prepared was typical and delicious! I can't stay enough about the whole experience.”

“Stayed in many hotels in Cartagena over the past 6 years and our stay here was absolutely one of the best! Everything from the staff (huge thanks to Chef Isaac, who took the time to show me how to make a dessert he had prepared that I loved) to amazing breakfasts and extremely comfortable room (bed was so comfortable AC worked perfectly and perhaps the best shower in Cartagena) and rooftop pool so enjoyable and great Wi-Fi. Will absolutely stay again on our next trip!”

“Let me start with we could not find this hotel. Our Uber driver couldn’t find it. We had to walk around and Google Maps could not find it. Eventually had to call and get directions. Once we found it, check in went smooth. Location is great right in the center of the walled city. The balcony was nice to sit out and listen to the bands down the street. The breakfast was good. There was a language barrier but we were able to use Google Translate and get everything figured out.”

“Property is lovely, rooms are awesome, food is great and staff is superb. 3 comments that I wish would’ve been proactively disclaimed: - some rooms in colonial section have no windows whatsoever, such as mine. Had to request room change, and had to insist a bit to get it. - There are renovations taking place, which imply construction noise. - Upon receiving the final check, you will get a $70+/day gratuity added. No question, not optional. I wouldn’t have minded any of these, as long as……

Catalina at the front desk was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Breakfast was phenomenal every morning, and the ambiance of the hotel was peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
