Our family rented Collin's cottage for Thanksgiving and it was a wonderful stay in a great location. The house had a private pool and was located in a nice neighborhood with easy beach access across the street. My grands loved the selection of board games and the smart screen on the refrigerator. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our party of 10 and the house was decorated so beautiful! It had the most comfy sectional and plenty of room to gather and enjoy our time together. We have always loved Perdido Key and this house made the trip perfect.

The house is beautiful and is exactly as pictured and described. Situated on a cul-de-sac street, with wooded dunes behind the house offers peace, quiet, and privacy. Johnson Beach is easily accessible from the house by bicycle, walking, or driving. There is a small entrance fee because this is a State Park. 25 for a week car pass is more than reasonable. It allows access to beaches on the gulf and the bay. Close to the Historic Naval Base Fort Barrancas, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Super Walmart and Publix are a short drive across the bridge and preferable to going to Walmart Market at Orange Beach. Both are closer and easier to access without the tourist crowds. We absolutely loved and appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the home. The outdoor shower was wonderful after a day on the beach. The swimming pool is on the smaller size but was fine for our group. We would absolutely book the home again on future visits.

We were a family of 14. We had plenty room in the new home. However no golf carts are allowed to beach. We rented this house it said short walk to beach, the beach access was so small our family of 14 would have not been able to sit together. We had to pay to go drive to Johnson Beach. Had I known we had to drive I definitely would have chosen another home. The pool was full of sand when we got there along with a broken lounge chair that had dirty clothes and water bottle under it. There was sand in laundry room floor, trash in bedroom dresser. The outside grill said it has to be cleaned before you leave or you are charge 100, we had to clean it before we used it! Overall the house was nice but I would never recommend it if you want to go to beach or if you are OCD
