Hi Rodger, I would like to thank you for your review, however would point out that the hotel was in fact closed for bookings due to Covid 19. I explained this to Lee, the organiser of the booking, however, I, the General Manager, personally agreed that I would open a 26 bedroom hotel solely for your party of 7 golfers for 3 days/nights. Furthermore, I produced two menus which Lee agreed: day one, when you arrived, was a curry and day three, the finest Scottish steak, which I purchased from a quality local supplier. The bar person was brought in to look after your group's bar needs. Lee accepted that I was opening the hotel for you alone as a golf party but offering you the choice to find an alternative hotel with full hotel facilities. However he chose to accept my hotel with the constraints explained. I would point out that I, the General Manager, was never stretched as there was never a promise to offer a fully staffed hotel service. I solely catered for you, providing breakfast from 7am and anything you required at a time of your choice. On your second day you had your golf cancelled due to rain. I was called to see if I could provide the hotel service as you would not be playing. I made the bar person available and I personally remained in the hotel to look after you all; you chose not to come. I am unsure exactly what you expected Roger, having been given all the aforementioned constraints from Lee? You and your group of 7 had my personal attention for three full days. I could never offer the full hotel service you obviously thought you were coming to. I simply did what was agreed. Yours sincerely Bob Coles General Manager
