“The Cheriz Boutique is beautiful. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The view of the tea plantation was just stunning. This is a great place for a couple's retreat - peaceful and romantic. The staff were very nice and the a la carte menu was great. It is an ideal hotel to escape to and relax. ”

“Had an amazing time ! Our trip had a very rocky start but the couple who owns the place were soo homely and treated us like their own daughters. “My room, the views, landscaping/grounds, quality of the facilities, and food at this hotel are all superb and honestly in my view worthy of a much heftier rate. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this Nuwara Eliya!”

“We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”

“Myself & my partner stayed here for 2 nights. Unfortunately the photos on the website do not represent the actual rooms that you get. For some reason, the lovely tiled floors in the photos have since been replaced with a dark red, dirty carpet which instantly makes the room feel unclean. The shower head did not prop up. On arrival the toilet seat had dried up urine all over it. The red carpet had dead flies & many black hairs on it. There was often a very strange loud mystery noise that vibrated……
