Conveniently located just outside central Montezuma. The only reason for the one star reduction was the extreme heat and bugs inside Villa #2. At check in, the villa was well over 95°F with doors and windows closed and no AC running. Opening everything only made it hotter. The cement construction trapped heat……

The doors don't seal, the windows don't seal, the outdoor shower doesn't seal, and that results in every bug and small animal in your villa. That is unacceptable for a "4 star" resort. While it wasn't the end of the world for us, having a June bug fly in your hair while in bed can be very unnerving or the squawk of a lizard on the ceiling at 3am can be annoying. “I wish I could give more than 5 stars. After a 20+ hour travel day, we arrived exhausted and unfortunately encountered a bug issue on our first night. What impressed us most wasn’t the problem itself, but how the staff handled it. They immediately took our concerns seriously and, without us even asking, upgraded us to their best villa, which was significantly nicer and more expensive than our original booking.
