「My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful.」

「I arrived after a check-in time of 4pm, was informed someone was still using my room and did not know what time I could get into my room. Also there was no availability of getting another room because they were totally booked and no other room available. I went outside and spoke to the other guest staying with me and one of my friends walked and I walked back inside and she said that was unacceptable and needed to speak with a manager. Less than 5 minutes passed and a room was available for us....

「Was charged $50.00 extra to check-in. Arrived 2:10pm at hotel to work 5pm local event. Staff stated check-in time is 4pm. Stayed at 2 other different hotels beforehand in Lynchburg, VA area to work local events and many more nationally and internationally and never charged extra when rooms were available within a reasonable time of posted check-in. Will never stay at Bella Vista Hotel and Suites again. It's a principle and lost a future customer for life.」
