“The breakfast choices included in the stay were minimal and not to my preference. But the roof top restaraunt was fabulous and food was delicious. Best pizza ever ”

“No shops nearby. Room was clean and kept clean very day. It was as very disappointing that there wasn’t a bar fridge in the room at all. When I asked about a fridge they looked at me like I had three heads. Hard to keep any cold drinks or any meds in your room. I would not return to this property because of that reason. ”

“Everything is perfect at Aura del Mar. We prefer the Superior Suite because of the extra room and the elevated view. The pool area is excellent with plenty of shade. Another few steps and you are on the beach! The restaurant has amazing food. We loved the nightly happy hour on the sunset viewing deck. Abel treats his customers like family. Roxy at the front desk and Carlos who books excursions are both helpful and making every guest feel at home.”

“La vista al mar es increíble, tiene su balcón y escuchar las olas del mar por la noche es mágico, y los atardeceres de ensueño, su zona de playa es espectacular, muchas palmeras con camastros y el restaurante también muy bien y su alberca muy linda, la comida exquista. Lo q sí puedo decir es q es un hotel algo descuidado en sus instalaciones, la habitación olía feo, estaba limpia pero olía a humedad o como cuando se limpia y no echan cloro, las llaves de la regadera rotas, salía muy poca agua y……

“Our overall experience was not great. Our first room was dirty , safe didn’t work no windows or AC. We upgraded at a cost to a better room which worked out much better. Check in was poor , no information was given to us by front end staff regarding special events, no map of the resort. Most of the staff seemed to be indifferent to requests from guests. The few bright spots was Alberto in the breakfast area without him we wouldn’t have known about special dinners or events or what the breakfast……

El hotel está inmediato a la avenida principal de la zona hotelera que conecta con la playa, muy cercano al mercado de artesanías y las plazas comerciales. para acceder a la playa queda muy cerca el estacionamiento público de playa el palmar (en el cual hay un corredor que te lleva directo a mar) entonces está muy cómodo trasladarse. “Property was nice as well as the staff. Shower in the room was only room temperature and did not adjust at all with either handle. Would have liked to see a swim up bar or central location to get drinks during the day rather then going to the restaurant all the time.”

“The property overall was very clean; it was easy to get to from the airport 25-minute cab ride 630 pesos. Food was amazing and staff was super friendly too. I would like to say a massive thanks to Isis who made sure we had an amazing room. Vania was amazing, she was the person who had all the answers. She gave us amazing suggestions about places to see and go. Eloy was as well super helpful and super nice. Our overall time was incredible; it is a great place to re-set and recharge. Thank you……
