“The hotel has a classic appearance, and considering how near it is to 5th Avenue it was remarkably quiet (not silent, but not loud either). Room was clean and comfortable, the staff very kind. Cool oceanic water feature in the courtyard, and a nice small pool (we didn't have time to enjoy it ourselves). Close to lots of dining options, and s half block from 5th Ave. If we were going to spend more time in Playa del Carmen, we would definitely choose this hotel. ”

“We had a great time at Playacar Palace! Room was lovely- we got an upgrade to full ocean view. Staff is amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Food is delicious- my only note would be I wish the buffet was open every night, sometimes a dress up dinner is too much. Pool is fun, activity directors are great. I do wish they had more night life- things are pretty quiet by 10 pm. There was some impact from the seaweed problems in the area, but the hotel had workers/ trucks out there every morning……
