Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Riu Palace Riviera Maya. What we loved the most was the peaceful, relaxing, and healthy environment throughout the resort. It was exactly the kind of atmosphere we were hoping for on our vacation. The food was amazing! We especially loved the buffet, which offered a great variety of dishes every day, all very well prepared. We also really enjoyed the food stand by the pool—it was perfect for grabbing something delicious without having to leave the pool area. The resort amenities were extremely clean and very well maintained. The staff was another highlight of our stay. Everyone was respectful, friendly, and always willing to help with any request. We were also impressed by how smooth and well organized everything was. Check-in, check-out, airport transfers, and our excursions were all easy and stress-free, which allowed us to simply relax and enjoy our vacation. The only thing my family and I did not enjoy was the amount of sargassum on the beach. Unfortunately, because of it, we only visited the beach twice and stayed for a short time. However, we understand that this is a natural and seasonal issue and not something the resort can control. It was certainly not a deal breaker for us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and left with great memories. We would absolutely recommend Riu Palace Riviera Maya to families looking for a beautiful, peaceful, clean, and well-run all-inclusive resort. We would happily return!"

"room was spotless and cleaners came every day. The room itself was nice and had all the equipment available in the kitchen. Shower was poor and eventually water completely stopped and had to change room. Shower not much better in that one. Pool is not bad, however gym is not good and spa section of pool not working. Wifi is slow but ok. Location is good."

"All the reviews are spot on. House wonderful, location perfect. Beds, all comfortable. The double king room spacious. The pool is deep, full sun in the morning, followed by nice shade spots in the afternoon. When it is great, it gets better. Jesse the host / property manager was overly wonderful. Helped with transportation, recriminations, and whatever we needed. We are divers. So she brought Francisco over a master diver. Her dad! After we discussed the diving we want and our level of qualification. They dialed us to great dives which they know well. We asked for more water b/c of a review I read. Not a problem fixed with an extra 5 gallon blue bottle for the dispenser. Seaweed yes, it is the time of year. But the pool floats above it, whilst right on the beach. 10 of 10. Thank you Jesse and Francisco."

"Great experience at Playacar Palace. Staff very friendly and respectful. Always with a smile to welcome everyone. For the names I can recall... Argenis, and Juliana at the pool service and Antonio at their restaurants. Angenis and Antonio specially were very informative. Argenis was helping us with drinks at the pool area and he was able to make a drink exactly as I wanted. they go the extra mile to make sure the client has the best experience. I would definitely go back or even try other properties by the same chain.. It was a great experience."

"This house was perfect for my large group of 14, including 3 teenagers and a 2 year old. The concierge was very accommodating, having a high chair, pack-n-play and car seat ready upon arrival. He also responded immediately to any questions I had through the Whats App. We loved the huge dining room table where we were able to join together for meals. We had a chef prepared meal one night which I would highly recommend. The house was very clean...the cleaning staff was excellent (prompt and efficient). The only disappointing aspect of the entire trip was the amount of seaweed. We never dipped a toe in the ocean which the kids were so bummed about."

"WHAT a spectacular, beautiful home. TWO masters, baths for all the bedrooms, plenty of comfortable beds and seating for all. The kitchen is well appointed and the washer, dryer, dishwasher, wifi, TVS, and icemaker let you settle in just like home. The views from the upstairs balcony are gorgeous, with plenty of room for the whole family to share meals upstairs, by the pool, or in the spacious dining room. The pool is small, but a great size for a family dip in the heat. We used it every day.It is a lovely, short walk into town, past ancient ruins that are fun to explore, with monkeys, sereque (agouti, related to capybara), coati mundi, wild pigs, and racoons. Be sure and catch the bird sanctuary right in the neighborhood. The home is located in a lovely, gated neighborhood of high end homes, with 24/7 security who are friendly and helpful.Mercedes and Patricia were quick to respond for anything that we needed, including transportation and excursions. Alejandro set up a whale shark excursion for our family that was the highlight of our trip. We did some others through the internet and they did not come close to the personal attention we received. Outstanding!While the property is steps from the beach, the sargassum made it unusable. It has NOTHING to do with this incredible property, but climate change certainly makes this an issue in summer. We had no problem finding plenty to do.We could not have had a better experience and would absolutely recommend it!"
