"This is a very nice little vacation house in a gated community. There was plenty of room for my family of four. The community amenities were very nice to have access to. We enjoyed the screened in porch and fire pit. The home is within an hour of all the sites we wanted to see. The host was very responsive to questions."

"Arnie was an amazing host. It rained most of our trip so we were very thankful to use the hot tub when we could. My husband was happy to beat the high score in Pac Man. The kids enjoyed playing pool. We were thankful for the house especially since we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor amenities as much as we would have liked. Thank you Arnie!"

"Zach was a great host. Very responsive to any questions we sent despite it being a holiday weekend. Our daughters loved the old school video games and made sure they played them up till the last minute while we packed up the truck. The chalet is walking distance to a dock for fishing, playground and beach. It was too cold for us to use the beach, but we did check out the pool, which is less than a mile (also walking distance) away. The pool is heated and our girls loved it! Arrowhead Lake community also offers a lot of activities as well as rentals, such as kayaks, bikes, and live music and bonfires if the weather permits. We used the outdoor fire pit for s’mores which was lovely as well. Thank you, Zach for helping us make the most of our weekend away from our normal."

"Love this house! Right on the lake, dock and paddle boat, firewood for the pit, toys for the kids to play with, and very clean with lots of space for our family of 4.We have stayed here before and can’t wait to come back again and again!"

"The cabin is in a great location close to some beautiful hikes and things to do in the Poconos. The rental had everything you need for a weekend away (cooking utensils, grill, cooktop, fire pit, hot shower, heating and cooling), but the furniture was not in great shape and the wifi was non-existent, so internet and TV were not available. Fine for us, we didn’t need it and were content to enjoy nature, but if you are banking on reliable internet access for remote work or connection to home, this is not where you want to stay.The grill had a broken starter button (which we got around by lighting with a match), and you couldn’t turn on the overhead light in the living room without also turning on the fan (seemed like the remote that controlled it was broken). Both of the Adirondack chairs at the fire pit were cracked, but lucky for us we always travelwith our own fold-up camping chairs and didn’t need theirs. Finally, looked like a previous renter had strewn rose petals in the bedroom as there were dried petals all over the floor and no one had bothered to vacuum them up. Didn’t give us much confidence about how clean everything else was…. Overall the stay was fine, but attention to these details re: ensuring guests have functioning amenities and cleanliness would have made it better."
