We REALLY enjoyed staying at the Casa! Sophia directed us to a different room on nights 2 and 3 and we couldn't have been happier with her recommendation. She and the rest of the staff are delightful. Breakfast was lovely and gave us a super start to our days.

Walking distance to many great restaurants. Great free underground parking. Great central location to explore the island. Staff are fantastic and the breakfast was very nice.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was clean; bathroom smelled a little musty, but it's an old building. Breakfast was pretty basic. We were "upgraded", although we had purposely booked a room with a terrace? Apparently the room we booked would have just been a twin bed, although it did not read that way on Expedia. Area was very walkable with lots of dining and shopping options. The POOL...unusable as it was taken over by pigeons. Pigeons in the pool, around the pools...which means bird poop everywhere.

Great hotel right in the centre of the town. Sophia was a great help at the desk too with getting us reservations and calling us cabs. The hot tub and sauna was by reservation which was nice so you get it all to yourself. And theres a nice cafe and bar across the way from the hotel so you can get a close final drink for the night.

Hotel is ideally located and is great value for the cost. There are lots of dining options in the area and plenty of sightseeing. The staff is super friendly and only too willing to accommodate your needs. Rooms are quite comfortable, modern and clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a terrace room that was spacious and inviting. The kitchenette allowed us flexibility in dining and keeping snacks( read cheeses) cool. Staff was super friendly and although steep and tight the parking garage was a huge bonus.

Excellent for a longer stay in PDL

We stayed in the 4th floor suite which had not one but two terraces. The room was huge, comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchenette with induction hob and microwave is useful for preparing meals in the room although we think the fridge didn’t work unless you have the key card in the room for electricity. Nicely decorated as is although some more colour/wall decorations would make the place feel a bit more lively. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, especially when we asked them to book the excellent spa with jacuzzi. Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary but fine. Location is very convenient right in the centre of PDL with many bars and restaurants around.

I didn’t sleep for more than an hour as you could hear bar noise until 4am every night. I asked to change rooms but they were apparently full. They said they’d move me up a floor but still at front of hotel so didn’t see the point. I did request a quieter room when booking. Car park was full when we arrived and when we did get a spot, it was almost impossible to park. Awful. I was exhausted as I didn’t sleep a wink. Actual hotel and staff were nice though. Made me cut my holiday short and book a flight home as I was exhausted.

Hotel is well located in the center of Ponta Delgada couple of minutes from city gates. Property is well maintained, has garage (but challenging to get in and out and suitable for small cars). Rooms are good size, some kitchen amenities provided (water, tea, coffee, microwave, bottle opener, glasses, etc). Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is included
