Nice holiday flat with a view over banana plantage and waterfall

The Madeira Sun Travel Team was very helpful despite we had a big flight delay. There are two bathrooms one at each bedroom, but there are no doors between bathroom and bedroom. Beds are quite comfortable, we had a good sleep. We had a very nice time, many touristic spots can be reached within 30 to 45 mins, many restaurants nearby.

Entspannt & schön wohnen in toller Lage

Das Appartement, eher wie ein ebenerdiges Haus, ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hat bequeme Betten und ist super ausgestattet. Es ist in der Anlage hinten, also ruhig, gelegen. Lediglich die Autos von der Landstraße hinter anderen Häusern gelegen, hört man etwas, aber es stört nicht beim Schlafen. Der Pool ist schön, die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Es gibt überall Mangobäume, Palmen… Die Lage ist sehr gut, um alle Teile der Insel zügig zu erreichen. Ein großer Supermarkt ist 6 Min mit dem Auto entfernt, in Ribeira Brava. Dort gibt es auch ein größeres Café mit Bäckerei. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war etwas holprig. Nach einer Woche sollte eine Reinigung stattfinden. Ich hatte vergessen, das Appartement nicht abzuschließen. Daraufhin baten wir nur um frische Handtücjer am darauffolgenden Tag. Unsere hatten wir, wir gebeten worden war, in eine Tüte gesteckt, inkl. Fußmatten). Es war Samstag und es wurde uns ohne Erklärung mitgeteilt, dass wir erst dienstags frische Handtücher bekommen könnten. Das war wahrscheinlich Pech, aber entspricht nicht unseren Serviceerwsrtungen. Ansonsten war wirklich alles toll!

Lovely complex of apartments

The grounds, pool and the fact that the accommodation was detached from others was lovely. The property was spotless and had all necessary amenities. The lady who changed the bedding was very pleasant. Sadly, the house has high humidity and there were damp patches in both bedroom areas and in the kitchen/sitting area. This resulted in having a damp smell in the house which is a shame. If there were vents in the windows and a dehumidifier in each of the rooms it would hugely help the damp problem. This aside, we really did like the accommodation and the owners were attentive when the light tripped and the electric gate stuck one evening. Overall, the setting of the properties is lovely and the grounds are very well maintained.
