「Great hotel good food」

「Lovely small and homely hotel .Had a comfortable bed and enjoyed waking up to the view out to sea.The toilet and shower could do with being upgraded but was still clean and acceptable.The staff were excellent and very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast we had was very tasty and well prepared.I would especially recommend the Cullen skink. We enjoyed a walk along the beach on a lovely evening which we needed after our very delicious and filling evening meal.」

「What a fantastic stay at Kintrae B&B! Jackie and Mike are fantastic hosts and cooks! Hotel building is beautiful, room was great, clean, beds are really comfortable. There was a lovely sitting room looking out to the sea. The breakfast was home cooked and fresh, i had the vegan breakfast that was so yummy I couldn’t wait to go to bed just to wake up for another one! Not only do Jackie and Mike cater for vegans with breakfast they also had vegan dinner options that I had the pressure of...

「It was really special to experience a fisherman’s cottage in a genuine fishing village. Could not have been better than in the home of Cullen Skink. As you would imagine it’s very compact and very homely. It was lovely to listen to the ocean at night and see all the bird life. You aren’t very far from the ocean even if you’re not in the front row. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. Could do with a cheese grater.」

「We loved being out in the beautiful countryside in this sweet croft cottage. Our host was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast provided gave us lots of choices and was very generous each day. We had a spacious sitting room and bathroom as well. Thank you so much Eileen!」

「Room dirty , no remote for tv No breakfast in morning even though we were charged for breakfast,no one available at all in the morning,tried calling the phone number supplied but no answer , finally got the manager at 12oclkck midday ,told them about my issues and they did not care in the slightest ,told me to contact hotels .com ,absolutely disgusting behaviour customer service zero . Do not recommend this place to anyone . 」

「This has an amazing restaurant,staff very knowledgeable and very friendly, food excellent, very homely pub also and friendly people,hotel room excellent and clean , we had dogs with us and they were warmly welcomed also , can take dogs in bar but not restaurant which is not a problem at all ,excellent location with great parking ,highly recommended and we will be back ,dinner in evening great selection of locally sourced produce , and also breakfast in the morning amazing . 」

「We were greeted at the door by Liz (the owner along with her partner Lee) and immediately felt very welcomed. She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and it turned out to be a lovely suggestion. The home is well kept! At breakfast the next morning (which was quite tasty) we chatted with Lee and he gave us helpful perspectives on the area around us. We would have loved to have spent more than just one night!」

「This is our second stay at the Firth Hotel and really enjoyed it again. The rates are very competitive and cheerful as well as not breaking the bank are massive pluses. The rooms are clean, lovely sea view, very quiet, staff make check in easy. It's peaceful and a lovely staycation destination. Rooms despite being budget have a fan and a fridge as well as hairdryer, iron and decent pillows. The Smugglers bar is not far away with comfy seats and friendly locals and reasonable drink and food...
