“The VIEW from our room and from the pool area is UNBEATABLE! I would highly recommend. The staff was accommodating and friendly as well. A couple of things to note, the drive up to it can be a little rough so a sturdy car is nice to have, the shower water doesn’t seem to get hot, the room itself doesn’t have tv or convenient access to outlets but all these things are minor issues compared to the beauty of the view. ”

“Charming, friendly, clean, convenient place to stay in Quepos. Staff is lovely and helpful — made me feel very welcome and at home. Close to Manuel Antonio but not in the tourist zone. Would visit again. ”

“The pool is in need of serious repairs. The air took a long time to cool down. I let the lady at the front desk know but she said it was because it was hot outside. The restaurant was closed. Not a resort. ”

We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. “Great manager, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to reach. The place was clean and good location. Great for those on a budget not needing every amenity. If driving, back into parking lot. Grill currently not available due to building of an outside sitting area. Not sure you can walk to marina in 20 minutes, nor would I given the hill, but you definitely cannot walk to the park. Don’t think this error in landmarks is the fault of Tico Tico though, but the reason for my 3 stars on……

“We spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica in jaco, Manuel Antonio and uvida. This was our favorite, a hotel out of all 3 spots. Amazing views a fantastic nature feel! If you like puppies when we went, they had a very well behaved puppy named oso always made coming back to the hotel. Feel like home.”
