「Charming hotel great for some alone time with your partner. Went during off season so only three other couples staying there and never rant into all of them at the same time. Parking is easy and free and location is very accessible to the National Park and close to dinner locations. Rooms a bit on the outdated side but does not matter when you are only there to sleep.」

「My family and I had an amazing time at Encantada. The place was so quaint and cozy and we felt very welcomed. My kids loved the pool and the easy beach access. They also loved the 2 resident cats on the property. Our meals were some of the best we've had in Costa Rica, especially the whole fried red snapper at dinner time. Would definitely come back!」

You will see more wildlife in your backyard than in the National Park. There's a beach nearby (Playa Espadilla), a little bit of a downhill walk but do-able. I'd highly recommend taking the bus anywhere & everywhere. It is so convenient and affordable. The staff works very hard at cleaning and maintaining the hotel. The only...
