"The tent was lovely and as expected. The property was not well managed. Continental breakfast was a bagel in a box and the bar and restaurant were closed to guests due to outside events. This would be fine if you weren’t on an island with very little other option! It was strange that they couldn’t save atleast a little space for their paying guests for a drink, dinner or breakfast or atleast notify us in advance so we could have brought our own food."

"You’re definitely right in the middle of Times Square. Its location was easy to get around anywhere in the city. Whether by car or train."

"I grew up on the upperwestside so the location works great me. Convenient to subway, buses and many restaurants. Close to the park. So great for that. The property is a bit run down, the first impression walking into the lobby, the rugs are filthy and actually a trip hazard. The elevator floors have the same issue. I thought the room was adequate, a/c was good and is the standard for NYC apt living with window mounted a/c unit. The bathroom hot water can be another issue as it takes a while for the hot water to travel up 11 floors to our floor. There is plenty of hot water, but it takes a while/patience to reach the faucet. Over all, hotel accommodations are becoming more expensive on the upper west side and this hotel, although not cheap is a more affordable option. Works well and gives you a real NYC life experience."

"Our room was beautiful on high floor. Nice view. Extremely clean. Comfy firm mattress. Lovely bathrooms. We enjoyed the tea/coffee, chips and water in our room. Included breakfast, a complimentary bottle of wine, and a walking tour for 4. [Varied starting points by day of week. We were there Sunday, but tour from Edison were on Tue/Sat. You'd have to go to another one of their Triumph partners. I think the hotel could do better to send you the confirmation greeting message for your stay, that they should state, "Your stay does not occur on the days of our walking tours but here are the next closest hotel partner." Or something like that.] We had Broadway tickets. It was nice to go out of the hotel lobby, cross the street to get to theater we needed. And lots of restaurants next door to complete the evening. Parking would be included for your vehicle at a price of $75 a night. But you can't come in and out. That did not make us happy since part of our trip was to go into Brooklyn and Staten Island. We did end up taking the metro and then the SI ferry. But it limited us to walking around and couldn't really get to see too much of the areas. But getting around town is easy enough with the transit systems. And the free Staten Island Ferry had the best view of Manhattan and Statue of Liberty. All in all I think that the hotel Edison was fabulous. I would definitely stay here again."
