「This was my second stay here at Meadow view Cottage. Beautiful garden with a great place to sit at the end to chill with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. 「Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out.」

「Needed somewhere to stay that was commutable to Basildon for our specific needs , dog friendly and a place to de stress. Couldn't have found a more lovely place. 「Fantastic! ...sums it up really. We booked late, but the property manager/landlord quickly got in touch and helped us through the process. Professional yet friendly. The apartment itself was nice and clean, with a lovely huge bath and decent shower. The kitchen was well equiped and open plan with dining area and lounge.
