"The hotel is right next to the Metro so travelling around is super easy. Good selection of local shops & eateries close by. Hotel staff friendly & accommodating. Answered any & all questions to the best of their ability. Restaurant is lovely, food very good & staff are great. However it is pretty expensive. And they charge you a surcharge at the end of your bill if you have a foreign payment card. So for ease it's great, for your spending money not so much. The room we had was spacious with comfy beds & thoroughly cleaned & restocked every day when we were out."

"The hotel was fantastic. It’s only three metro stops from Ahoy and conveniently located near many attractions and amenities. The metro station is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, making it very easy to get around Rotterdam. The room service was excellent, with the option to order food directly from Foodhallen. There is also a 24/7 self-checkout shop on the ground floor, which was very convenient. The views from the room and balcony were amazing, especially with the beautiful weather during my stay. I would definitely stay here again, particularly if TwitchCon returns to Rotterdam in the future."

"Many missteps. Disappointed with the hotel at this price point. Will not make a reservation for a local restaurant for you. They claim privacy reasons, even though the reservation could be booked under the hotel name with their phone number and our name. I’ve never encountered this before with a hotel. Arrived from Canada shortly after noon and were told the room was not ready. Check in at 3:00. Some European hotels are so adamant about their check-in time rather than provide customer service to their guest. Going on 24 hours without sleep, a room ready would have been appreciated. What was disappointing and annoying were others checking in and being given room keys. In addition, the reception staff smiling, gesturing and whispering to each other as we sat and waited for over an hour. Poor A/C in the room. It took all night to cool the room to 22-23C. The handheld shower in our bathroom would not stay upright to shower. Our stay was for 2 nights and we requested it be repaired and it was not. Again at this price point this is not something you expect. The furnishings are something you would see in an inexpensive chain hotel. Once again, not something that you would expect at this price point. Overall, a disappointing hotel. Positives - the location if catching a cruise but certainly not enough a reason for a positive review."
