49'er Inn & Suites

10/10 Excellent

"The Ho Hum Motel did not disappoint. With a name like that, they appear not to promise a luxurious stay next to Yellowstone National Park. Yet our stay for the evening did not leave any expectations unfulfilled. My wife and I appreciated the air conditioning, comfortable beds, and the hot shower the following morning. I enjoy small talk when I get a chance, and I enjoyed the small talk with the on site manager when checking in. Groceries and food were within walking distance, and when we left the following morning to get back into the park, it was a short drive to the left turn to get back to the park entrance."

"When we travel we always look for the old hotels of the past, the Hotel Colorado met our expectation and matched other old venues like the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island, Michigan. I have 2 complaints and to some they may not mean a thing. First the indoor dinning area was closed for the evening and dinner was served outside, It was very chilly that evening and there was no other choice other than leave the property and have dinner in town. Secondly we had to pay to park on the Hotels Property. We found this at all the other hotels we stayed at in both Colorado and Utah during our trip. I felt like i was being ripped off having to pay to park when I was already paying to stay."

"The hotel was ok, the lobby was beautiful and the staff at the desk were extremely nice and helpful. Once you went out the doors toward the rooms it was just ok. Rooms were tiny, meaning in the bathroom you could not open the door past the toilet as it would hit, so you had to come in close the door to get to the shower. No place to sit in the main area comfortably to relax, love seat available but cushions would slide out when you sat. Once you returned to your room at the end of the day it was mainly to the bedroom to relax. Pool is much smaller then it looks in the pictures and was dirty. Chili's was nice to have in the hotel for a close food option."

"We had a wonderful stay! The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The property itself was beautiful, and the pool with the water slide made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was well maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. Highly recommended for a comfortable and fun getaway!"

Centennial Hotel Spokane

"My boyfriend and I stay at this property semi frequently when we stay in Spokane because it's in a great location for downtown activities, and it's pretty decent for the price. However, our stays always vary on how good they are, and I wish this property was more consistent. This trip, I was fairly disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The shower had several loose, what looked like cat hairs, in it. There were squished bugs around the sliding glass door to the balcony, there was a McDonald's condiment topper stuck on the balcony, the balcony floor was sticky, and I found one of those weevils that turn into clothes moths. They were also fairly stingy on items in the room. We had exactly two of every towel type, only half a roll of toilet paper, one plastic cup, etc. For our two nights stay we had to ask for more towels, toilet paper, and cups. The room itself was also mediocre for paying for a balcony upgrade. I felt like the rest of the room was smaller just to have a small balcony. Also, the bathroom door was set to automatically shut, and I had to rig a system with hangers to keep the door open as I hate a hot shower in a small bathroom. The AC was fairly loud, but I was just glad it was working so well as we have been in a room before where the AC barely worked at this property. I will say that the employees were extremely nice and friendly. I am sure we will stay here again, just as stated earlier, I wish this property was a more consistently great stay."
