“My husband I recently stayed at Old Church Farm for 3 nights. Our visit can be summed up as first class! From the excellent communication before arrival to the moment we arrived and beyond, Christopher (the proprietor) made sure we felt right at home. “Old charming manor that is one of the best in Cotswolds. Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. “Overall I am very satisfied with OYO. The reception manager is ver nice and helpful and one I must mention is the breakfast. It is very good and delicious and there are a few you can choose so you can try different kind of breakfast if you stay a few days. Also the location is very easy to find and it is just 20 minutes away from the city Centre.”

“Fabulous location a short drive or park & ride bus from the city centre. Lovely setting and well maintained. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Food was lovely, with a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were well designed and spacious, with a lovely private courtyard. Loved being able to have my dog with me and she was even permitted in the bar and breakfast room (not in main area near breakfast bar, which was fine as I had company to watch her). Would stay again 😁”

“Lieu surprenant avec un paysage buccolique je recommande les personnes sont serviable a l écoute le repas est 4* La chambre donne sur unep étiez terrasses très sympa malheureusement et.ce n'est pas la faute des proprietaires ...les odeurs de la cuisine refoulent dans la chambre ...il y a elgament des guêpes attirees par l odeur de la nourriture sans doute . Dommage parce que le lieu est formidable et l accueil excellent . Je donne une notre de 8,5/10 tout de même pour ce lieu atypique……

“Lovely evening nice food too”

“A great spot for easy access to Bath, Bristol and the delightful village of Cheddar and the gorge. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the food they prepared was plentiful and tasty. We can recommend a meal in the gorgeous train carriage attached to the bar - a lovely experience. ”

“Hotel is amazing, comfortable spacious rooms, superb power shower with lovely smelling toiletries. Room was huge, bed was very comfortable with added tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast had a superb choice of both English and continental. Did have an evening meal here which was outstanding as well as the service given by the staff. Have stayed here twice now and will definitely be back again.”

“We stayed in the hotel during the heat wave, so without the AC the room was quite warm, however manageable. Please mind the old style stairs in the building, may be challenging with heavy luggage. Otherwise the place was excellent for us. The breakfast is the best!”
