"My only complaint is we couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone ie front desk, etc. The staff that was there were awesome. "

"They need to change their "standard" view description to "no" view or "blocked" view. We were given room 408 that opened up to a dark wall & littered ledge. Room was also vary dated. Would not be staying there again."

"One of the reasons I chose the hotel was the rooftop pool. But the only way to get to it is to go to the lobby, walk clear to the other side of the lobby, and take a different elevator to floor 6. I was on floor 7. The bar and restaurant were only open very limited days and hours, and the coffee shop offerings were sub par. My room was great, though! I had an executive suite with a kitchenette and washer and dryer. That was awesome. The staff were very good at their jobs. The ice machine on my floor wasn't working for a full week, so I had to go fown a floor each night for ice."

"It needs to be updated. I am tall and the toilets are so close to the floor. The carpet needs to be changed and a fridge should be in the room. And the furniture needs to be dusted and made sure that if someone has spilled on the nightstand, then make sure that is cleaned with a damp cloth and then shined. Otherwise, its in a good location and if you don't want to go far to eat, you can go to Mr. Ed's right next door. The doors are literally in the hotel lobby."

"The staff was super friendly and helpful. We never ate the breakfast but it looked good and it was always crowded. The kitchen in the suite was helpful as we stayed 10 days and didn't want to eat out every meal. Our kitchen included a full sized refrigerator, full sized stove and oven, dishwasher and sink. The location of the hotel is just a few blocks from Bourbon Street. CVS and Walgreens are a couple blocks away for drinks, snacks, medication, etc. The hotel also sells drinks behind the counter. There is no pool, but an outside deck that seemed to be used mostly by smokers. The laundry room was very convenient. All in all we are very pleased with our stay at the Sonesta Suites and would definitely stay there again."
