Convenient to downtown, Gantt's Corner is a darling house in the heart of Salida. This home has a desirable three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and is open and roomy. Walk out the door to enjoy Salida's many and downtown cafes, galleries, shops and parks. The river is 5 blocks away. Feel right at home in this well-appointed, clean, comfy home. It's a wonderful way to experience downtown Salida!

This home offers:
~ A mix of original charm and tasteful remodeling with brand new kitchen and baths.
~ A bright, open interior with comfortable furnishings.
~ Sleeping accommodations include three comfy bedrooms

~ 2 well behaved dogs allowed
~ The all-natural snow at Monarch Mountain ski area is 25 minutes away, or bike the first class trails on Tenderfoot Mountain - just blocks away. The best of Colorado's seasons surrounds you!
~Please note that this house does not have air conditioning.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Perfect place in a perfect location.

This is a great property. The location is just off the downtown, so it’s close to all the good restaurants and shopping. We are a family that frequents Salida. We have stayed in numerous properties in Salida. Gantt’s Corner is one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The house was clean and well appointed. The living space was large and comfortable. The booking and check in and out process was a breeze. We will definitely consider booking this house again. Thank you to the Gantt’s family for providing such a great home.

5 stars if the internet wasn't terrible

I had to use my phones hot spot to stream shows, because their internet was so slow. Otherwise this would be a 5 star review. They go to a lot of effort to let you know that this can be the case, so it wasnt a surprise, however when a phones hot spot is better than the internet there, its not a weather issue or an issue with the ISP. they just cheap.

Christmas in the Mountains

My husband and I traveled from San Francisco to visit our son and partner, who live in Salida, for Christmas. We were joined at Gantt's corner by my other son and partner from Denver, CO.Gantt's Corner was the perfect place for us all to hang out, cook together, chat and play board games. The kitchen was well stocked and with a larger fridge for all our food, there was plenty of seating for 6 of us and we paid for a dog to visit even though he only visited during the day, which was great to avoid him being left out. Also it was good to have 2 toilets with 6 of us there during the day. It was great to be so close - easy walking distance to town, the shops, the river, walking up the S hill and along the river. The hosts were very responsive. We would definitely come here again. Very well stocked all round - even a pair of hiking poles available for me!!!

My adult nephew & I just needed a simple, clean place to stay while visiting dh or another nephew/cousin!s wedding. This nice house hit the mark. It is as it is advertised, clean, close to downtown, and was well equipped. We enjoyed our short stay!

The property is excellent. The property management company, Piñon Vacation Rentals, not so much. Fees charged exceeded rental charges! In addition, we had a problem entering the property in the late evening, called the emergency number, and received no response. Instructions should let renter know the entry code doesn’t work after a few hours, and keyed entry is necessary. Toilet in half bath needs to be tightened to the floor, or wax ring will unseal.

Amazing location!

This property was even more cute in person. Very cozy and just blocks from downtown. We were able to walk everywhere! Terry was gracious and allowed us to bring our 3rd small pup (policy is only 2). The property management company was very friendly and accommodated a late check out! Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely home perfect for us & our dog

Gantz’s Corner was just as advertised, only a few blocks from downtown. perfect for us and our dog as it is completely fenced. (Note that there are gaps between the fence planks in the front, so if you have a very small dog, your dog may be limited to the back yard.) There’s also a nice dog park a short walk away, the riverwalk area for water fun, & lots of great hiking and biking trails not far afield. We would definitely stay here again.
