A perfect stay

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The place was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. We loved having the hot tub and outdoor spaces, too. Our host Mari was so communicative and helpful. 10/10 experience, would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great stay

Great stay. We had a few issues, but the hosts were quick to communicate and remedy the issues. The driveway was a bit narrow, but other than that, my family enjoyed the stay.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Mari’s bungalow in San Diego. The house was clean, quiet, and comfortable! We loved the outdoor space and enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend!

Great location! Walk to a excellent Italian restaurant. Also able to walk to get my daily Starbucks coffee. Enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful back patio. Would stay here again for sure!

Great Vacation spot in cool neighborhood

Our family of four had a great time, plenty of space to relax and was perfectly located in the North Park neighborhood which is walkable to everything. The backyard was great and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great place to stay and relax after a day of festivities in the San Diego area. The owners were attentive and helpful as needed. We appreciated it and would stay again!

Relaxing home base for your San Diego adventure

We enjoyed quiet and restorative time in this centrally located home during our week of exploring the beauty and bounty of San Diego. After a trip to the zoo, we relaxed in the tranquil backyard and made good use of the hot tub. We loved being able to walk to really good restaurants in North Park, and many attractions are only a $10 Uber ride away.

Wonderful little house

We loved this place! There's an amazing backyard where we were able to eat, hang out, let my kids play corn hole, and generally relax. It's walking distance from all types of cute little restaurants (and amazing breakfast burritos), and the house was absolutely immaculate. If we ever come back to San Diego, we will 100% stay here. It's really a gem.

Nice house with wonderful outdoor space

Our family of three stayed here visiting friends during spring break. The house is exactly as pictured and described. The house was clean and comfortable. The backyard is well maintained and peaceful. Mari was very attentive and immediately responded to all of our questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice place. Odd neighborhood

House is as advertised. 2 Masters is very nice for 2 couples. Freeway travel required to get to Balboa Park or Lamplight District was the only drawback even they seem very close on the map.

Family vacation

Beautiful property. The backyard exceeded expectations. It was lovely to come back to the hot tub after a day out. Well stocked kitchen. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed as far as cookware and even spices, oils etc. The beds are very comfortable. No central air but air conditioners in the bedrooms which were adequate. Private entrances from both bedrooms to the backyard. Second shower is in the backyard but private. Beach supplies available for use. Owner responded within minutes generally to questions/needs. Overall we were very pleased and would highly recommend.

Calming city oasis

This property was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded expectations. The backyard was amazing, the beds were comfortable, the AC units in the bedrooms were lifesavers. The only reason we chose to stay in a VRBO this trip is because my mom was coming with my husband and myself. We needed our own space. We have been leaning towards hotels again as the VRBO process has been more and more complicated and frustrating. However, this VRBO and the hosts reignited my desire to stay in VRBO’s in the future. The amenities (coffee machine, swiffer, vacuum, standing fans, Tupperware, washer/dryer, beach supplies, etc) were amazing. The attention to detail was superb. The location was perfect as we wanted to stay close to my sisters in North Park. The only thing that was missing is an AC unit in the living room area as this space tends to get stuffy in the afternoon. Thank you so much for extending your space to us. We truly appreciate it!

Wished we could stay longer!

We really enjoyed North Park neighbor and this beautiful home. Wonderful layout, easy communication with owners, and lovely courtyard. Less than 5 minutes from SD Zoo meant we could leave with the kids and go back to the house for “quiet time”, then back to zoo for the evening. We all wish we could have stayed longer!

Great place, local to everything.

The house is as described. Updated. Comfortable. Equipped well. Great home base for our SD outings. Very close to Balboa Park and the Zoo. Check out Baron’s for your grocery needs. 18 minutes to Jake’s Del Mar. Close to the airport, Sea World, La Jolla Beach, whale watching. Near Baron’s is a really good place to get Cali burritos. Midway is pretty close and try dinners at C Level, Jake’s Del Mar, and the Fish Market. Mari is very responsive as the owner/manager. She had great information. Never used the hot tub there is on and the back yard is gorgeous. Don’t be intimidated by the driveway. It’s narrow but take a wide berth and your car will be off of the street and right next to the side door. Kitchen is well appointed and there is a good variety of tea in the pantry.

Great Rental For Small Group

We had a great stay at this rental. After a few small glitches in communication at the beginning (partly my fault for not making use of the App), we loved our stay. House was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking pans and utensils as well as basic spices. Outside areas in the front and back of the rental were clean and accessible. North Park is close to a number of places we visited: Mission Beach, Balboa Park and San Diego Zoo. It was great as we were traveling with an almost two year old who had a short tolerance for long rides. Pack and Play with a mattress was a great plus! We would definitely stay here again!

Family wedding

Stayed at this house with my husband and father for a family wedding. It was perfect! The neighborhood was so cute and it was very convenient to the museums and zoo. The outdoor area was perfect and the hot tub well maintained. We would definitely stay again.

A great getaway in San Diego!

This house is exactly as they advertise it, a Spanish urban oasis. The house is wonderfully kept and very cleanly. The backyard is beautifully and some thing out of a magazine. Spent lots of time on the patio relaxing and taking in the beautiful San Diego weather. The host was very accommodating and very responsive with any questions I had and there were no delays in any communication. I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home.

Perfect

I was so excited to stay here and the property really lived up to expectations! The back yard was beautiful, inside was just as clean and lovely. Plenty of utensils for cooking and options for grilling on the bbq outside. The location was fantastic, close to lovely North Park shops, bars and restaurants, close to the highway but with no traffic noise. The extra bits in the cupboards were a fantastic touch too! Spare body washes, shampoos, first aid kit, the property owners really thought of everything and have made the house a gorgeous home to stay in. The beds are comfortable, plenty of extra pillows and blankets if needed. I didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much for everything

Great outdoor space!!

This is a small property in a busy neighborhood. Nice layout. We spent most of our time in the great backyard area. Loved the seating pergola area with the tv and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of walking and touring. We LOVED the outdoor shower and urinal!!!! And the washer/dryer were very handy for us as we stayed here in the middle of a very long trip A note to those who need AC: this property does NOT have central AC. It does have units in the bedrooms with very strict instructions on them. We didn't find these to be super great, but we found the nights to be cool enough that we survived ;) Owner was quick to respond to communications via the app. We would stay again.
