“We had the most amazing experience at Hotel Matilde. Everything was superb, from check in to check out. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is perfect for exploring the Spanish Quarter and is only a 10 minute walk to the historic centre. The hotel itself is stunning, we loved our room and the facilities were superb. The breakfast is amazing, one of the best we ever had. The fresh pastries are wonderful. I can say we appreciated every moment of our stay. The staff……

“The hotel was in a beautiful galleria in centre of a busy shopping/food area. even though it was stunning architecture, at night the galleria had lots of homeless people in cardboard box homes. Staff at hotel were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, just basic, but we knew it was. Room was clean and up to standard. everything was walkable to shops and dining. ”

The room is small though and only has windows into the interior mezzanine of the building. You hear people talking in that area or doors slamming quite loudly during the day, but if you only plan to tour the city by day and sleep in the room at night by yourself or with 1, itis no problem.”
