“Always an excellent choice when we have to stay the night in san jose. The steakhiuse isbawesome. Breakfast is included and lovely. Rooms are beautiful.”

“We were really disappointed with our stay. Staff were very unhelpful. Hallways not clean. Given a room with a view of garbage cans and gas tanks. Another guest arrived on a red eye at 10 am and was told her room would not be ready until 2pm! Far from airport. Very limited ameneties, not even conditioner or enough towels. Will not stay here again ”

“Our group of seven ladies spent one night at Hotel Pibi Boreal. It was wonderful!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was brought to our rooms, which was a nice. Each room had a patio overlooking the forest. We would definitely stay here again!!”

“Hotel El Guarco rooms were very clean & comfortable. Staff were very helpful & kind. The linens & towels were so white & had a lovely clean fragrance. The incuded breakfasts wre truly amazing & presentation was impeccable! We could walk to numerous other retaurants or fast food establishments for dinner meals. We were there for 6 days, & would have enjoyed a pool & lounges to enhance our stay. But we made lounges out of the benches on the balcony, by adding pillows to recline on. Also, since……

“Overall it was a nice stay and cleanliness wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, although not sure if the milk is up to standard as it gave one traveller a bad stomach. Tap water was also questionable. Staff are really friendly, but limited English so can be difficult to communicate. Grounds were beautiful, some work was going on during the stay. Really close to blue falls. ”

“Clean room. Beautiful property. Friendly staff. Safe, well lit space to park your car. Note: the property must be in the flight path and is beside a very busy, noisy street but we heard nothing that kept us awake. Conveniently located very close to the San Jose airport”
