“Clean, spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows. Could not hear any cars or trucks but heavy footsteps from upstairs and people talking from next door. Free simple breakfast. The air conditioner was a bit loud. Hallway smelled like smoke but room did not.”

This was a birthday visit and the staff went above and beyond, even the staff at 1509 as well with a 15% discount on dinner as guests of the kress, free Rock climbing as a guest right next door to the Kress, first Friday celebration, brunch at Reid's Apothecary down the street, the farmers market at Mary Ross Park, shopping on Newcastle, enjoying one of the park areas near the hotel...I felt so very special. “Seems like they're having homeless and transients stay there. People sitting outside their rooms watching people check in and unload their cars. People wandering around all hours of the night. I was afraid my car was going to get broken into. That whole I95 corridor is sketchy.”
