「We had a beautiful stay at Hetland Hall Hotel. It is exquisitely decorated attention to detail everywhere and the staff are so lovely! We would definitely go back and fully recommend it. 」

「This was our second stay here. The hotel has a very scenic and peaceful location whilst being easily reached on good roads. There is plenty to do nearby if you want it but we go for the views and to walk by the Solway Firth. The hotel is well run and the staff are friendly and helpful. Special mention for Lisa from the restaurant who recognised us from our previous visit - which was years ago! Impressive. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and was delicious. Granted, it is an old building, but it’s full of character, and while perhaps the water pressure isn’t as enthusiastic as some may like, there’s no rush, it’s easy to relax at The Old Rectory. 」
