It’s a convenient location just above the Caniço shopping mall. The listing said free parking on the street. That’s not totally accurate. We parked against the wall in the complex. Parking on the public street would be inconvenient and is mostly pay.

A good option for the price

Overall the apartment was great. There is plenty of room and it is in good condition generally. Free parking on the street isn’t exactly accurate. You can park along the wall in the complex. Street parking is mostly pay and you wouldn’t want to park down there anyhow. The Wi-Fi worked well. The property is right above Caniço shopping and the area is busy most of the time. If you’re looking to get away from it all this is not your place. Also, beware of the bed in the large bedroom. You will most likely bang your shins on it. The addition of a dishwasher would be nice. A dryer would also be nice but they are not common on Madeira.
