Rural Tourism - Laurissilva Forest

Casa Rosa is located on the Vale Paraíso site in the parish of Camacha. It is a traditional building typical of the very genuine Madeiran countryside, about 120 years old, in which there is a succession of four generations. Mrs. Carolina Rosa appears in her registry as the first owner, which was the reason for choosing the name of this tourist resort "Casa Rosa". In the year of 2007, we took a deep recovery, with the care to prevail its originality; adequately equip their characteristics and care for and equip their surroundings with a selection of specific plants of this locality. We also emphasize the beauty of the whole site of the Paradise Valley by the exuberant vegetation and its orography.

A house in a green garden with a lot of flowers

It is a perfect house to relax with a private garden. Cool and fresh in summer. Every morning we opened all windows and doors to be like "in the garden" with all the flowers surrounding us. Everything you need is here - kitchen with all necessary utensils. Living room for enjoying the evening together. We stayed as family of 4, 2 sleeping upstairs in the bedroom, 2 in the extra double bed in the living room. Good parking. Highly recommended place!

Das kleine Traumhaus

Trotz der Straße, die über dem Dach des kleinen versteckten Hauses herführt, ist man hier ganz geschützt und privat untergebracht. Man bekommt den Verkehr mit, aber die schöne Atmosphäre des Gartens und das urige Ambiente von Casa Rosa machen alles wett. Das alte ehrwürdige Häuschen ist perfekt und liebevoll restauriert, der Vermieter ist ein sehr zugewandter, herzlicher Gastgeber. Wir haben die Zeit in Casa Rosa sehr genossen und waren mit dem gemieteten Auto viel unterwegs. Allerdings fahren 30 Meter vom Haus entfernt zwei Buslinien ab, so ist man schnell in Funchal und zurück, oder in Richtung Norden. Casa Rosa ist nicht luxuriös eingerichtet, aber absolut sauber, geschmackvoll und mit allem Nötigen, was man braucht. Jedem Hotel vorzuziehen!! Renate und Lourenço

Urige Unterkunft für 2 Personen

Sehr individuelles, liebevoll eingerichtetes, kleines ehemaliges Bauernhäuschen. Sehr netter, hilfsbereiter Vermieter, der in der Nähe wohnt. Wunderschöner Nutzgarten zur Selbstbedienung. Extra Gartenmöbel fehlen leider. Innen für 2 Personen recht nett, für längere Schlechtwetteraufenthalte nicht geeignet. Der Essplatz in der Küche klein. Die Beine gehen kaum unter den Tisch. Der Straßenverkehr direkt hinterm Haus ist im Garten und im Schlafbereich zu hören. Die FeWo-Beschreibung mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 4 Personen ist nicht korrekt. Es gibt ein kleines Schlafzimmer unterm Dach für 2 Personen.

A very enjoyable stay!

We felt wellcome by Deniz and his family, tough the Casa Rosa is very tiny it has everything you need. We were quite cold and Diniz solved immediately this issue by bringing a second electrical heater.

Good option for nice weather

Casa Rosa is owned by truly kind and helpful people. The apartment is very clean and atmospheric, the garden is nice. There is a road just above the house, so you hear cars and the bus passing by, although it is generally a calm road. It was mostly raining during the time I stayed and when home-bound for a most of the day, the apartment may be less suitable, as it is relatively dark and seating is very basic.

Schnuckeliges Bauernhaus

Casa Rosa; allein der Name sagt, was zu erwarten ist. Ein wunderbar renoviertes Ur-Haus (das alte Backhaus wurde in die Küche integriert). Sehr sauber und mit den für Camacha bekannten Korbarbeiten bestückt, aber auch mit bequemen Bettenkomfort ausgestattet. Der Blick von der Terrasse geht zum Garten hin. Hier wächst all dieses wunderbare Zeugs, was man von Madeira erwarten kann. Also: Rosen neben Camelien und Hortensien, Südkräuter neben Apfelbaum. Eine Fahrt mit dem städtischen Bus bis Funchal ist zu empfehlen - für starke Nerven. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt in der Casa Rosa. Wundervoll - 5 Sterne für diese liebevolle Casa Ro

Dinis und seine Familie, die Vermieterfamilie, wohnen etwa 150 m weiter. Die Casa ist ein Liebhaberobjekt. Authentischer wohnen kann man auf Madeira wohl nicht. Alles ist liebevoll und blitzblank. Zur Begrüßung warteten Madeirawein, Insel-Bananen und frische Walnüsse aus dem Garten. Das Haus und der Garten - alles so wie auf den Bildern. Dinis freut sich sehr, seine Gäste in die Familie einzubinden. Wenn seine Schwägerin Lydia am Wochenende auf traditionelle Weise (im Holzofen) Brot bäckt, sind seine Casa Gäste herzlich willkommen. Das gleiche gilt für Familienfeste. Danke Dinis und Guida, dass wir beim 6. Geburtstag Eurer Tochter Valentina und dem großen Familienfest dabei sein durften. Wenn wir nach Madeira zurück kommen, sind wir wieder gerne Eure Gäste. Wir wünschen Euch weiterhin mit Ihrer Casa viele interessante und nette Gäste aus aller Welt. Adorable petite maison sur une ile magnifique.

L'équipement est parfait. Le bus pour Funchal passe à 20m ! Commerces à proximité. Un grand merci à José et sa famille pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité! Bien qu'un peu humide, Camacha permet d'accéder facilement à la voie rapide et ainsi à l'ensemble de l'ile. On peut meme randonner depuis la maison!

Sehr individuelles und freundliches Häuschen

Wir haben einen traumhaften Urlaub in Madeira erlebt und 11 Tage im Haus "Casa Rosa" gewohnt. Das Haus ist sehr geplegt, sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, doch ist alles Wesentliche vorhanden. Auch der Garten ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet mit etlichen Obstbäumen.. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Er spricht Englisch und hat uns die einheimische Kultur nahegebracht und dazu beigetragen, dass unser Urlaub zu einem einmaligen Erlebnis wurde. Das Haus ist als Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Insel geeignet, in Funchal ist man in kanpp 15 Minuten. Für uns war der Urlaub mit drei Personen ein Erlebnis, das wir gerne wiederholen!!!

Très bien

Revenons d'un séjour de 12 jours à Madère. Avions loué une voiture dès notre arrivée pour faire le tour de l'île et avons fini par la Casa Rosa à Camacha. Cette location nous avait été conseillée et à notre tour, nous la recommandons vivement pour diverses raisons. L'endroit est idéalement placé pour découvrir l'est et l'intérieur de l'île. A proximité, il y a un supermarché très pratique pour les courses courantes. La maison est bien équipée, confortable et possède un beau jardin bien fleuri. Et enfin, les propriétaires nous ont réservé un accueil très sympathique et ont été à nos petits soins durant tout notre séjour. Mr Nobréga est ravi de parler français avec ses hôtes. Bref, nous revenons enchantés et souhaitons un bon séjour aux futurs occupants. Chantal et Jo (séjour du 02 au 08.05.2015)

A lovely cottage in a beautiful situation

We booked Casa Rosa from the UK through the web site HomeAway which put us in direct contact with the owner of the accommodation. It was then a simple process of agreeing the dates of the let and providing our flight numbers in order to secure the booking. Casa Rosa is in a great location for walkers. With a little ingenuity, several Levada walks are accessible directly from the cottage without using a car. There is a large supermarket and petrol station around 400 meters away (open 7 days a week). Casa Rosa is a superb cottage away from the hustle of Funchal. Perfect for two people, equipped with a microwave and induction hob making self catering easy. The owners of Casa Rosa made us feel so welcome. You will get a true feeling of Madeira staying in this cottage. We would definitely recommend the cottage and hope to return one day.

A beautiful house, well situated

We spent one week in this charming house, nicely decorated. We felt at home from the beginning! Everything was very clean. The house is spacious and well-equipped. You can easily reach Funchal by car (only 10-15 minutes), nice beaches and a lot of beautiful (and sometimes challenging!) walks. The garden is very nice as well. We had a welcoming package with delicious fruits. The proprietors are a lovely family, very helpful and discreet. We highly recommend the Casa Rosa, a great point to discover the island!
