Great Vacation

Gone Coastal was a perfect home for our family's trip. We have never rented a home before so this was an experience that changed our minds forever. Perfect location. Our teenagers loved the pool onsite. Loved that they could would tone house over and be at The Gathering Place (neighborhood pool where all the other teens hung out during the day). We rented a golf cart and never drove the car when we were there. Headed to Perfect Pig - at the entrance of the neighborhood, in the mornings and headed to the Seaside Square at night. We took nightly strolls around the neighborhood at night, where it felt more like beautiful cottages rather than a home. There is enough room for everyone to have their own space and meet in the living room at night for a movie! We will be back!

We have stayed in this neighborhood several years in a row and love the location. This year, we spent a bit more to have this home with pool/hot tub, but were disappointed. While the pictures were lovely, the furnishings and state of the home were rather shabby/worn. The larger aggravation was finding upon check-in that the hot tub and pool heater were not in working order. The third party property manager was quick to respond, but whatever they did did not remedy the situation and there were several calls and visits over the first 4 days attending to this. Not something we want to be dealing with while on vacation! One of the service providers even mentioned that they had been having trouble with this the week before. We should have been notified of this at that time, refunded the money, and saved us the grief of trying to figure out what was wrong.
