Loved the property

We did experience some roaches initially and an exterminator was called in to spray. Other than that situation the property and location was good!!!

Bumpy Start, Great Finish

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was very clean. Three bedrooms with a bonus room with double bunk beds...enough room for 10 people. a screened in area with a swing and a bed swing. Living room was spacious with a big TV and games. Community is very pet friendly with bags and waste baskets at two grassy locations. The community pool is right across the street and well maintained. The beach is a short 8 minute walk. A gas station & convenience store is right around the corner. Restaurants are just a short walk/drive. We did have a couple issues upon arrival, but the dedicated staff and maintenance team took care of everything within 24 hours. NOTE: Refrigerator needs to be replaced. Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again.

Wonderful house, but listing is misleading

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great for our multi family vacation. It was clean and very spacious. There were a couple concerns with the house— the back yard was overgrown, so we couldn’t enjoy the charcoal grill and the house has a gas leak smell inside and outside after cooking at times. Also, the picture on the listing suggests that there is beach access within walking distance of the house. The access that is within walking distance is considered “private” access and does not allow you to set up in this space. The public beach access is almost a mile from the house location, which is misleading in the details of this house. When we booked this house we were told that we would have accessible beach access with the property that was in walking distance, but that was not the case. These points were escalated to My Vacation Haven, but I have not gotten a response as of yet.

Broken stove

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were called 1 hour prior to arrival time to be notified that there was a gas leak and the oven wasn’t operating. The stove was a specialty stove and one of the knobs was broken. They stated they would provide a grill and electric cooktop. Based on the amount of hot plates and electric cooker at the unit, it seems like this had been an ongoing problem, and not just occurred that morning. We were also not allowed in the house until 1.5 hours after the scheduled check in time. When we arrived there was blood on the floors in the dining room and on stairs. Obviously they ha dent mopped. Also, the back door was broken and wouldn’t lock or shut. We had to prop something behind it to keep it closed. We couldn’t even be ensured our safety with the door not closing or locking. We notified the company and nothing was done. They said they would have someone out that first business day for the stove, but no one came the entire week.
