family getaway

we had a wonderful time in our vacation rental. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, great location and plenty of room. Nice to have bikes to ride and we sure enjoyed both the beach and the pools. Wouldn't change a thing!

Thanksgiving 2023

This property is awesome. Lots of space for large families. Well stocked. Location can’t be beat, close to tennis courts, shops, Seaside. Easy communication with property managers. My husband and I, our children and grandchildren had a wonderful stay. Thanks so much.

Location, Location, Location

Our family of 10 included 3 Grandparents, 2 parents, two toddlers, 1 Aunt and a friend and his son enjoyed the spacious private quiet bedrooms with private baths. Three king beds came in handy. And the extra private apartment detached from main house was a bonus for that family member that needed the solitude . We enjoyed all the property amenities of beach club, swimming pools, waterpark, trails, bicycles and restaurants nearby. Bicycles worked and ready to ride. TVs were tricky since had multiple remotes . Could have used instructions with channel listing. Good water pressure and adequate hot water. Tastefully decorated.

Wonderful family stay in Watercolor, near Grayton Beach

We picked the perfect place to gather with our grown kids (and their spouses/partners) and our 4 year-old grandchild. The house was perfect, with five bedrooms (including the very nice carriage house), and each bedroom had a private bath (in addition to half-bath just off main living area and kitchen). The house is in garden district just a few blocks from beach access at the Beach Club pools, and even closer to the Marina pool and kayak rental at boathouse on Wedtern Lake). The check-in was easy with door codes provided (and codes to locks on 5 provided bikes), and communication with host company was great via text. They were very responsive with one problem that came up during the week stay, and brought bags of ice until ice maker issue was resolved. This house made the week with ten adults and one child feel like a real luxury vacation as we celebrated my wife’s retirement and other family milestones. We would stay here again anytime! We lived the proximity to Grayton Beach State Park, whose boundary was just steps away from Watercolor’s west beach access ramp (giving an option for quiet natural dunes setting as well as the upscale Watercolor Beach Club pools and bars/grills.

Close to the beach!!!

We loved the house—-PLENTY of space for our entire family…and it was only a few blocks from the beach. Very convenient location. Short bike ride to Camp Watercolor and short walk to another pool. We all had a great time there.

Wonderful House for Family Christmas in WaterColor

We really enjoyed the large comfortable house with its great location. The living room and adjoining kitchen and dining room made our family get together perfect. Having three bedrooms with king beds and then the spacious bunk bed room meant we had more beds than people! And the carriage house is an excellent bonus. Everything about the house was first class and we always thoroughly enjoy the beach at WaterColor!

Excellent Annual gathering

Every year our group of friends does a staycation in Watercolor in Nov. This is the best house that we have rented by far over the last 8 years. The location was spot-on. The layout of the house and the pairing of rooms with bathrooms was perfect. The bunk room was just what we needed for the semi-adult children in the group. We have already decided to book this house again with a longer stay next time.

Great location!! Great house!! There was an issue with the mandatory bands required for beach and pool access that put a kink in a day of vacation. Be sure to understand renters responsibility of the electronic bands. May want to check bikes upon arrival. 2 of the 5 kept having problems:/

Beautiful, comfortable house, centrally located

This is our 2nd stay at 622 Western Lake. The house is in a great location, a quick walk to Watercolor pool and Seaside square. It has plenty of space for 3 families and kids. The house is nicely decorated, and an added bonus is the 2 sets of washers and dryers. Management was super responsive with questions. We will stay here again!

We absolutely loved this property. There was plenty of space for our family of 8. In fact we had Extra space. Communication with property management was more than great. There were a few issues that needed attention but management responsiveness was fast. We definitely would stay here again.
