What stood out the most was just how easy everything was. We found the place with ease, toured the home with ease, It was easy to relax and enjoy the view! Any questions we had were answered through text.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The view is gorgeous and worth the price of the stay alone. Great location, easy to get to great restaurants or a beach of your choice. The walk down the hill is manageable but the walk up is tough. The whole staff were wonderful and so helpful, they will make sure you have everything you need. All the bedrooms were nice and comfortable. Kitchen is big and we did a lot of our own cooking. Would definitely recommend staying at casa Antonelli if you have a large group with kids. Everyone In our group were so sad to leave. Thank you so much, will definitely be back. -Phil

Breathtaking oasis in Costa Rica

The house was very conveniently located from the airport in Liberia and close to shops and restaurants. The only downside was that the kitchen was lacking in basic cookware and what was available was in poor condition, which made cooking for our group of 8 very difficult. If the kitchen amenities had been upgraded, then I would give the property 5 stars.

Family Christmas Holiday

The property location is great, WiFi is spotty but works in parts of the home. The property could have been cleaned better one upstairs toilet was need to be cleaned by guest. The main issue we had was the 4 hours without water. We were told the water tanks were empty and needed to be filled up. One would think the property managers should know when to fill the tank.

Exactly As Advertised

My family and I just returned from one of the most amazing trips in Costa Rica. We already loved the country but our stay at Casa Antonelli in Hermosa Heights made it that much better. The house was the perfect size for our group of 8 adults and it looked just as the pictures. The view was spectacular! We had one small issue with the drain in the kitchen but our house manager, Milena was awesome and someone out to repair it in less than half an hour and we didn't have any problems after that. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend Hermosa Heights to anyone travelling to the Playa Hermosa area.

Amazing!!

The house was beautiful and the pictures are completely accurate, but it still doesn't compare to seeing that view in person. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. We had an issue with the water, but with one call, they were there within 15 minutes to fix it. If I'm going back to Costa Rica I have no reason to stay anywhere else. The house was perfect for 8 people (4 adults, a teen and 3 children (8, 11, 11). We had tons of room and the patio/pool was amazing! Location was great too. Close to Coco Beach (souvenirs & multiple restaurants) and Playa Hermosa (best beach in the area) is a 2 minute drive. I don't think it's walkable due to the hill, but the drive was super easy. There are also several really good restaurants within a couple minutes drive. It really doesn't get any better than Casa Antonelli!

What a great house. There for almost a week with family. The view is breathtaking! House was beautiful and well maintained. I have never seen a kitchen so we’ll stocked. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Stay!

We came with a family of 5 children and we loved our time at Casa Antonelli! The home was exactly as described and we felt completely safe staying here for a family vacation. The beach was close and perfect for a day on the water. We loved coming back for some relaxing time in the pool at the beginning and end of each day. My kids are already begging to go back. We made amazing memories here, thank you!!!

Fantastic Property and Stay

We just wrapped up a week long stay at Casa Antonelli with another family. We had 10 people in total and had all kinds of room in the home. The pool was spectacular and the home met all of our search criteria. The Zindis group was super helpful and made our stay easy. The house was exactly as advertised and was spotless upon our arrival.

Feb 2022 Stay

We really loved the house and enjoyed our stay. I will say that Feb may not be the best month as we have been to Costa Rica multiple times and apparently when we were in Playa Hermosa this time they unfortunately had quite a bit of fires (apparently controlled) around the entire area. And the water was more brown than we have experienced but were told it was a few weeks out of February where it is the worst. I would STRONLGY recommend renting a car, we had to walk this crazy hill multiple times as taxi Service is pretty much non-existent in Playa Hermosa. You have to wait for along time for them to come from Playa Coco, if they ever show up. But my family of 5 with 4 being my youngest were able to tough it out and walk to the house multiple times. If anything, it was a great workout. But, the house was incredible and we had a wonderful time.

Fantastic Getaway!

We truly enjoyed Casa Antonelli! The house was well-suited for two families of four. The pool and the views to the ocean are stellar. The road to get to the house is ... challenging! but we got the hang of it. The house is well-appointed with all the amenities you need. It was nice to have the upstairs lounge area; the kids could watch movies up there while we were socializing downstairs. I would suggest they consider replacing some of the bed pillows and curtains which are showing a bit of age. New beach chairs would be nice too. House is centrally located to Playa Hermosa and other area attractions. We had a fantastic time and would go back!

Amazing Time

Overall from the time we arrived to the day we left everything was Great! Ian, Milena and the entire team made all accommodations seamless. The pics are 100% accurate. We were able to do daily excursions, trips to stores, etc. Personal Chef, Personal Massages all arranged at the property. I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

The view was Splendid!

We had a great time in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We visited other beaches in the area and Playa Hermosa was nice, quite and clean. The house was nice and large for two families. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook with, had breakfast everyday and enjoyed it by the pool. The view was Beautiful!!! The house is located in a secure gated community, with 24 hr guard service as well. Nice restaurants on the nearby beach that were very nice.

Beautiful Views - poor WiFi, defective air conditioner

The views were magnificent and the house was nice. Some drawbacks were the WiFi which did not work in the master bedroom or out by the pool. Even in other parts of the house it was not reliable. The air conditioner in the master was very loud/defective and we brought it to the attention of the managers. They were very nice and said they would send someone to check on it. However, no one ever looked at it and it made sleeping very difficult. The property managers would not allow us to cancel our trip (before we left) even in light of COVID-19 and cancellation of all flights that were announced for the following week. We tried cancelling several times, but were not allowed to (even when the president of VRBO was urging property managers to).

SWEET CAROLINE

We had a group of 8 adults stay. Everyone had there own bedroom and bathroom. The House is located in a queit friendly community. The house was equipped with everything. Grocery delivery prior to arrival was pricey but worth the convenience. Everything you need was at the house. The pictures online were exactly as advertised. The view from the pool is amazing. We saw whales and stingray from the house. Coco Beach is not far away $30 round trip by taxi. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores. We also walked to Aqua Sport on the beach for dinner. Places close early 8 or 9 pm. Highly recommend Buzzed Monkey restaurant at the bottom of the hill in Hermosa Hieghts. Amazing smoked meats. The owners and staff are so great....they even gave us a ride up the hill a couple times. :) Overall great vacation...I would recommend and hope to go back again. A couple suggestions - The kitchen needs a couple sharper knives, the set there is not very sharp. The house is on a hill so if we came back we would likely rent a car for part of the time. Walking up and down the hill is a little scary.

Fantastic view of Hermosa Beach

Looks just like the online photos, gorgeous. Great infinity pool. Just a couple of issues which need improvement: downstairs showers never get warm, grill doesn’t light, dishwasher doesn’t clean dishes well and need new pans in the kitchen. Beware of very steep road and driveway, but we were able to negotiate it in a Toyota HiAce van. We would definitely stay there again. Just can’t get that view out of my mind!!

Wonderful experience with Amazing views

We stayed at Casa Antonelli for 10 days. It was a wonderful, relaxing experience. The views from the pool were amazing. The check in process was easy and fast. The on-sight concierge Luigi Lios was very helpful and he went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. We rented a car (strongly encouraged because of the location on a steep hill) so we were easily able to go to the nearby beaches and restaurants. We ordered groceries so the house was stocked when we arrived. We would definitely stay at the house again.

Beautiful property, lovely area, great house manager - Should be 5 stars

Two families stayed in the house for 6 days and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully decorated and has lots of space for everyone. The layout is perfect, the pool is fabulous, beds were comfortable, the little grocery store down the hill stocks everything you could possibly need. The community pool and restaurant was very nice. The view was amazing, the only downside to that was being on top of the very steep hill, it was not possible to walk to the beach, or anywhere. (Warning, steep hill is not an exaggeration - the hubs had to get used to maneuvering up the hill and into the driveway.) Edgar, our house manager, was wonderful! He had great suggestions and was very responsive to every concern. We had a few glitches - dishwasher didn't work (they replaced it), Wasp nests in the pergola (Edgar removed them), Magic Jack phone wasn't correctly connected and didn't work when we needed it, grill igniter was out and needed to be lit with a lighter (we bought a battery and a lighter at the local store), no pool skimmer (bugs like to dive bomb into the pool), and there were nightly bat visitations that left droppings all over the patio furniture (we ran the outdoor fans at night to try to deter them, covered the furniture with sheets and wiped the tables down and swept every morning). This is a 5-star property with an excellent house manager and it would be a 5 star review, except for the various little annoyances. Apparently the owner doesn't come to the house very often, so that would explain most of the little issues we had. Hopefully others won't have the same issues. I would also like to caution anyone who decides to have the house stocked prior to arrival - get a cost estimate beforehand. We ordered 2 cases of water and were shocked that the cost was over $60 - $1.30 per bottle! We bought a case at Walmart in Liberia for $7. Overall, we had a fabulous time and would definitely come back.
