Great Property and Location in Sayulita
Casa Makawe is a newly built property that we thought was very nicely done and decorated. The location is excellent in that you are just about 2 blocks from the main square of Sayulita so it is an easy walk to restaurants (2min) and the beach (5min) but far enough that we did not find it noisy at night at all. The cobblestone road outside is directly below the outside balconies and it has periodic car traffic and a lot of foot/bike/moped traffic. It provides a lively feel more so than an annoyance in our opinion. But if you're looking for something very peaceful and quiet during the day/evening this property might not be for you. Aaron the property owner was available at all hours and responded to any requests that we had almost immediately via texting. The kitchen was minimally stocked with pots/pans and utensils, but enough for us to cook breakfasts in the morning. The fridge was large and held all the groceries we picked up on our way over from Vallarta. Great bathroom with a large shower and a separate toilet from the vanity area. All in all a great place to stay and one we would return to as well.
